Bf of 2 yrs caught drunk texting his ex.?
I just found out last night, while snooping through his phone that he texted his ex. Now, he deleted the texts but I seen that he texted his buddy that he had texted his ex gf the other night while drunk. Here's what the convo between my bf and his friend looked like
Friend: "fixed things with the lady yet?"
Bf: "no, haven't spoken to her yet, she's at work lol"
Bf: "texted my ex last night and whole bunch of other people. Lol turnt up"
Friend: " lol what did you say"
Bf: " I just said her name an she was all mad at me for texting or some ****."
Now, since he so cleverly deleted the message stream between him and the ex, but mistakingly forgot to remove it from his text with his friend, busted. We've been dating two years and are about to move out and into our own place together within a month or so. He was sneaky in the beginning of the relationship but that had all ended when we hit 2 months. Or so I thought. I would like to make this work but I have to know a few things first. I confronted him and he fought for me not to leave, begging, crying, snot, the whole bit. I'm still pretty hurt but I think I'm gonna do something I haven't done before. I going to call his ex. I'm not upset with her, the way I see it, I'm dating HIM not her, he's the one I should be upset with. He said that when he texted her she replied saying to leave her alone and she has a bf and is happy where she's at. The only reason I wanna call her to sort through what's real and what's fake is because, that night of his text parade, he didn't come home til 5 the next morning.
I understand that if I don't trust him, there's no point in pursuing a relationship but at the same time, we all make mistakes. How do I know something like this won't happen again? How is he supposed to fix this? He declare he didnt wanna go out and drink anymore but i stilI feel so confused and hurt. Thoughts?

Okay, so we got these huge palm trees at work, (they're at least 3 stories high at minimum). Anyway, I was working the pool deck and the wind today was crazy! One of the huge palms (taller than my coworker who is at least 6 foot 4 inches), fell from the tree and landed directly on my right shoulder; Almost completely knocking me over! (I'm 5 feet and 106lbs. so it's not like I had a fighting chance with it.) It hurt but I think I was more surprised than anything. There were a lot of witnesses and everyone rushed to ensure I was OK. The pain started to surface and my shoulder turned a bright red. By chance, before the palm landed on me, I stood with my hand resting on my shoulder. So initially, my hand took the impact first. Both my hand and shoulder are in a lot of pain. Some swelling of both and a bruise on my hand covering my knuckles.
I immediately went to tell my supervisors and when I informed them, both of them just had this stupid look on their face. The only way I can describe it was "really, though?"; likethey wanted to scoff in my face. I told them I was in pain and with the same "I-really-dot-care" faces, one supervisor asked "well, what were you doing, climbing the tree?" Ummmm, what? I walked out upset and continued working. But now that I'm home and the pain is building, I'm getting more annoyed by the minute. Their insensitivity sent me over the edge. I haven't made a formal report yet with our security department, but one of the witnesses was a security officer. I'm making my report tomorrow.
But is that it? How can I take this further? Can I? Should I? Professional thoughts and opinions wanted please!
