  • Sound problem in Windows 10?

A couple of months ago, onboard RealTek HD sound card stopped working for no reason, so I purchased a Creative SB sound card and it worked properly.

But today, I upgraded my PC to Windows 10 Pro and I realised that my Creative SB sound card is not supported by Win 10 and there are no new driver updates for it. So I decided to switch back to the old onboard Realtek HD sound card, I downloaded and installed latest driver updates, Windows 10 fully recognized it, and it seems to work just fine. Everything is as it should be, Realtek software is installed, everytime I plug in my speaker, it shows a pop up and says Audio Jack Pugged In. In Windows audio setting there is no problem, no sound is muted, and even when I play songs, I can see green audio levels go up and down in playback devices settings.

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling drivers, speakers are OK and as I said everything seems to be working fine.

BUT STILL I CANNOT HEAR ANYTHING FROM SPEAKERS OR HEADPHONES. Please help!

  • Can any of these be a reason for hair loss?

I think my hair is falling out since two months ago and I think it's a little bit more than normal daily hair loss ( I am 23, male, and I have shoulder lenght hair )

Since 3 months ago: I moved from a region with humid weather, to somewhere with dry weather; my diet now has more fat than 3 months ago; I've never pulled my hair back before, but now I do it every day...

Can any of these be a reason for hair loss??

  • A friend of mine dreamed about me losing my legs?

Today a friend of mine (we are close friends) told me she had a dream last night about me, in that dream my legs were choped of (in fact some kind of acid destroyed my legs knee down), and also my eyebrows were gone, my father was trying to bandage my legs, but I was screaming to leave me alone...

That s a scary dream, and destroyed my day, does it have any special meaning, or it is just nonesence?

  • Should I stick to a particular scale for writing guitar solos?

I'm not good in Music Theory, I've always worked on mechanics and learning scales and chords, so, I've faced some unknown points in writing guitar solos.(my main music genres are hard rock and heavy metal.)

    This is the first question:

when I'm writing solos, should I stick to - for example - E natural minor scale for the whole solo?? or is it possible to go to - for example - E melodic minor for some parts???

    and there is another one:

I recently noticed that those great guitar players, like Steve Vai, Malmsteen, Slash, Joe Perry and others, some times add some extra notes to a particular scale, (for example there is no F# in A natural minor scale, but some one adds that in their solo), is that OK, according to theories??

  • Which guitar amp to buy?

I want to buy a new practice amp, because my current one does not suit my needs, I like heavy kind of tone and these are artists I mostly play: Steve Vai, Iron Maiden, Slipknot, Guns 'N' Roses, Aerosmith.

I do not want a brutal distortion (like those used for Black Metal or Death Metal), but I need a proper dist for playing Iron Maiden and Slipknot, also extra effects are not necessary, just usual ones, Reverb, Delay, Chorus and like these are enough for me, also I want my amp to have a good quality sound...

Now I have 2 choices, Peavey Vypyr 15 or Marshall MG15CFX (new ones with carbon fiber body), which one of them is better for me???? Please do not recommend any other amps, just between these two amps, which one to buy????

  • How to keep my hair like it looks like after shower?

I (male) have medium-long curly hair , after taking a shower, it becomes so nice, with lots of movement, and curles become bigger and wider, I love it a lot, but as soon as it gets dry, it becomes really puffy, some times frizzy (inspite of using a conditioner), and without a little movement, gains so much volume, and cules become so tight and small.

One of my friends, told me to use mousse, but that does nothing for my hair...

So is there any other way to keep my hair always look like in that way (like after shower)???

  • Playing Electric Guitar without using a pick?

well, I've always played my electric guitar with a pick, but now I want to play with my right hand fingers, because it is much more better for some clean sections, for example Steve Vai songs like Tender Surrender clean section and other songs...

But when I try to use my right hand thumb, I do it really bad, strings do not ring as well as using a pick, also I think my nails are not well shaped for this...

So is there any exercise or trick to do that.???

you know, I play electric guitar, I can play nearly any song, but the thing that makes me ashamed, is that, If you ask me what is 8th fret of G string's note? I cannot say the note name immediately, I should imagine the guitar neck, and start from 5th fret then find the note...
