Anyone know publishers or sites online to find teaching guides for various novels (Of Mice and Men, Lord of the Flies, etc.)? I'm starting a job at a new school, and my teaching materials are locked up in storage until the end of September.

He's a pretty untalkative guy to begin with, but we agreed to work on our communication issues (counseling is not an option) after a pretty big fight. But whenever I bring up big issues, he answers me with "I don't know" and shuts down. I'm not sure how to make him understand that it's not the quantity of our talking, but the quality that is lacking.

I don't have a new place yet but am moving to a different part of the country. I thought about getting a UPS Store mailbox, but apparently you can't have your address changed from the UPS store to a new address, whenever I find a place. Suggestions?

I am coveting a scarf knitting kit made with buffalo yarn. Has anyone used buffalo wool? Is it soft? Thick or thin? Does it hurt the buffalo to remove its down?

By the time he gets his bags and checks back in, we'll really just have 3 hours or so, so I don't want to spend too much time driving around. Suggestions?

I am returning my current laptop (on which my itunes library is saved) to my employer when I switch jobs in 2 months. There is about 20 GB worth of music, movies, audiobooks, and photos on there and synced to my ipod classic. I would rather not spend $100+ on an external harddrive, so what are my other options? Can I burn my library onto cd's and then load them onto my new computer? Will I have to manually input every song, movie, and photo, or will the library remain intact? Or should I just shell out the $ for an external harddrive?

It's for a job that I have little real world experience in but feel I would be really good at.

I don't mean acquaintances or family or people at the grocery store; I mean people that you happen to meet and get to know. Why do we open up more with certain people we meet and not others? Why do some relationships blossom while others never really get started? Personally, I think it is our job in life to figure out what the people we get to know have to teach us. And the hard lessons are usually the ones we most need to learn. Thoughts?

I've heard they have the most authentic NY style pizza around. Anyone been there?
