Question for girls...about a girl?

Ok, heres something for you girls as i and im sure many other guys wouldnt have a clue what it means..

I had a text off my ex earlier, we have been split for a year and shes supposed to be in a relationship with another guy, and we have only emailed each other a couple of times over the year (the odd mudslinging and bitchy emails between us..petty stuff)

When she text me earlier, she just wrote "boo"...so when i said hello, she asked me who i was and then when i told her who it was...she asked "where do you live"

the rest of the conversation went a bit odd as i decided to play along too and told her i was from middle earth...i diddnt get a reply

Odd, strange business........why do you think this would happen??

i got in my Astra to find that the engine management light had come on, the speedo had stopped working and the indicators had stopped working

The HAzard lights work and i can hear the relay clicking and they show on the dash?

Hi!

I want to convert an AVI video file into many small JPEG pictures...but cant find a suitable software.

I did have one ages ago but its lost on me what its called as i reformatted my drive a while back and lost it....

Ive tried Konverter, Virtual dub already but both are very unstable and throw up many errors..

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

When my ex and i split up about 6 months ago due to disagreements and misunderstandings, she went straight out and got herself a new bloke who lives a fair distance away from her, so she has to travel to go and see him and sometimes he travels down to see her.

I have been trying to keep things friendly with my ex, however when i go there to pick my daughter up, we always end up in some kind of dis-agreement....shes clearly really angry at me still, and carefully drops hints about her new bloke and how great he is etc. She also wants me to help her more....only today she asked if i could have my daughter on wednesday, but i know its only because she wants to go and visit her new boyfriend.....but makes out she "wants me to see my daughter"....( i know she planned to visit him that night)

I said that we cant talk because of the never ending dis-agreements, so suggested that i see my daughter when she goes to her grandparents.....to which my ex dis-agreed...its like she only wants me to see my daughter if shes in control and i have to visit her house!

There seems to be nothing i can do..i have emailed her dad ( who is ok with me) and im sure they would be happy for me to keep seeing my daughter.....

its all a mess!

ok i have an iso i need to burn to DVD and basically its like 6Gb of data, but my DVDs only do a standard 4.7Gb

im using Active ISO to burn my ISO's, which is good, but when the disk ran out of space it threw up a burn error....i tried toput in another disk but aborted it...fearing another error!

how do i go about doing this?...any ideas?

I have been made redundant and my relationship with my partner has collapsed and ive had to move out . We have a baby together whom i love very much.

I have been looking for work and hope to move to be near my child soon, although the waiting around is really getting me down...i feel so useless.

I have seen a oppertunity to work in the army for 4 years as a mental health nurse. I am 7 years experienced of working with mental health although im not registered...Army training will help me in the longrun.

I have always been toughened to the outdoor and active life also and would survive the rigors of army life im sure...im fit and healthy generally.

.but im wondering...do i stick around, wait to see if i can find work,and be near my little one...i really want to spend time with her. But i cant bear being a loser to her...Joining the army will loose me precious time with her but i will be making something of myself for the future!

I dont know what to do!

i was always left wondering what it would be like iof we were together....and the other day she told me that she always wanted to be with me...

I dont know what to do...i am unhappy being with my girlfriend, and dont know how to break away from the relationship, however i am aware going back to an old flame may not be a good idea either...

I wont cheat on my girlfriend...but also i dont think staying in a dead end relationship is good for anyone..

by the way this isnt some teenage crush situation..we are adults..ii am unsure whos going to get hurt here? Sometimes i think its best to be alone!!

apparently i have the wrong drivers for this..i have been looking through google and cant see what this is all about..if you have a look at my rig specs, im wondering do i needs this at all?

Mobo, MSI Neo V3 ( lastest Nforce drivers)

CPU. AMD 64 5200+

Graphics - Radeon HD 4650 (latest catilyst drivers)

Sound- Creative XFI ( latest creative drivers)

OS- XP pro sp 3

If i already have a sound device, in this instance my XFI card, is there any need for me to have the ATI function driver for HD audio installed.....i thought this was only needed if im using onboard Realtek audio?

please, any ideas would be great!

i am trying to update the drivers of my Nforce based mobo, but cant find the correct version.

I have a K9n Neo v3 by MSi and i have tried looking through google and i see different verions from 520 to 560...is there any definate way for me to find the type of Nforce i am using ?

Could i make a very big audio disk by burning MP3 to a 4.7 GB DVDr disk? as most normal CDr disks only can handle like 15-20 tracks?

I have a problem in that windows media player doesnt play any AVI files i have.

I have VLC medioa which is ace, but i need WMP to use a AVI file cutter with plug in and so far WMP only plays the audio of my media AVI files...

is there a way of getting WMP to run movies because no movies have ever run since i re-installed windows a while back!

Me and my girlfriend live apart as my work needs me to be away, but i am facing redundancy and my GF wants me to move in with her and my daughter once i am un-employed.

I really do want to be there for my daughter and i do spend as much quality time with her as possible, taking her out for walks when home,bathing her, feeding, nappies the whole lot and i enjoy looking after her and loving her, but unfortunatly me and my girlfriend dont get on very well if we are in each others space for too long!

My GF is a great mum and a good person, but she doesnt talkto me about anything other than our daughter, which is ok, but theres nothing else. We really have become different people.

I am unsure on if i should live alone and share the parenting things with my daughter, or move in and risk living with fussing and fighting and tension with my GF...

im really stuck, my GF wont like the idea of me living alone, but says im "a pain" and "difficult" to live with....ive tried talking to her but he changes the subject back to what our daughters been up to.

Any ideas?

im having a problem with the IP adressin from my wireless router.

So far i am on a network with another pC/laptop and i have found that the IP addresses are the same bar the last number

eg 000.000.0.1 (router default)

000.000.0.2 (my pc)

000.000.0.3. ( other laptop)

My pc has a problem in that on a crash the event viewer reports a DHCP error and that a lease could not be obtained from the server ( im guessing the router) to me- the client...there is no other problem on the other laptop and im sure both are dynamically assigned! also there are errors pointing to failed network adress assignments!

would it be better to have a static IP adress set up?? any ideas?

ok i want to save some space on my external hard drive, and wanted to crunch up some pictures that dont need viewing right away!

I have WinRar and was wondering if this would be suitable to use?...will the results be stable and unpackable?...any one got any decent tips for saving space in this way??

Ok i have downloaded some RAR files which i can inspect in WINRAR...the files are good but the files are all encrypted..

i have gone back to rapid share and there is no reference on the download pages of the numbers to un-encrypt the files..

Any ideas on how to remove the encryption in Winrar..any safe hacks etc?

Ok guys i have downloaded a movie which has come in many packed up RAR files...i can unpack the RAR files as i have winrar, but once i have unpacked each one, how do i join up the AVI files into one movie?
