i don't know how to do this. can anyone help?

My 5 year old beagle has had 2 of these episodes, about a month apart. he just had his second today, and we're worried.

both times it's been after he gets off the couch, which is around 2 feet high.

He convulses, he can't walk, and he's on the ground for probably around a minute or two.

I've been reading up on all the symptoms of seizures, including the 3 stages, etc, and he doesn't fit what i've read.

I have a 4 year old pure bread Beagle named Dodge. He is a very happy and energetic dog, and he wags his tail a lot usually.

Today, we noticed that he's been really tired and he will NOT wag his tail. We just got back from vacation, that's why he's probably tired.

But he just will not wag his tail for anything today. We think it may be b/c yesterday he was swimming and he kind of uses his tail in the water, and we think he might have just hurt it that way.

Just wondering what other people might think before we take him to the vet.

well I dont know much about it I was wondering who it was. My friend said this band when she was asked what her favorite band was, we were in a noisy place so i didnt hear it. it starts with a 'c', its like cranberry or something and its two words.
