  • Who's next to get caught caught in an affair?

Ok folks.... lets look at all the Republican candidates and who is likely to be the next one caught in an affair. Extra points if you correct guess the gender of the mistress/mister?

    -Governor Sarah Palin

    -Governor Bobby Jinda (so doubtful)l

    -Governor Charlie Crist

    -Former Governor Mitt Romney

-Former Governor Tim Pawlenty (my odds on favorite)

-Former Mayor Rudy Giuliani? (this wouldn't be a shock)

    -Senator John Thune

  • Should the Media stop now? (SC Governor)?

So now there is a report that Governor Sanford was in Argentina. My feelings are this isn't a scandal... this is something medically embarrassing. Here is why I feel this way:

-His wife wasn't worried about him. She even gave him cover by saying he was off writing (ie... she knew he wasn't off with some woman)

-He chose father's day to leave (less media scrutiny)

-Argentina is well known for its Medical Tourism

The question is, should the media stop asking questions now or is it fair to demand to know why there was a cover up?

Just so politics don't creep into this, this situation was actually brought to light by Sanford's Republican rivals in SC.

  • What would you like Obama to say about Iran?

Up until today he has said very very little about Iran's situation. Now he has pointed out that no matter who wins our relationship with Iran will not be impacted.

    Do you feel he should:

    -Verbally support the opposition

    -Keep mouth totally shut

-Point out irrelevancy of outcome publicly

Mind you the end game we should all agree is no more ahmadinejad in power, and maybe even no more clerical ran government.

  • Left vs. Right... Does it help us?

Leaving aside the semantics, we as an American society get to observe 6 years of Republicans running the show unopposed, followed by 2 years (at least) or democrats running the show. In terms of what will actually change, the answer is not much.

Do you think the classification of right vs. left actually helps us identify problems and solutions?

Do you think that either side actually has a perfect set of answers to the problems facing this country?

Keep the propaganda to a minimum please.

  • Rush Limbaugh creating a legitimate Republican Candidate?

    So... first things first:

-Rush is an entertainer. He is paid to be controversial. He doesn't even believe half the crap he spews.

Now here is the political situation as it stands. The Republican party has very little credibility with Independents. Both the left and right don't have good ideas for the economy.

    Here is my question:

If a credible Republican candidate attacks Rush Limbaugh and gets Rush to publicly back down, will this candidate have instant standing with Independents?
