This is in regards to how it is used when referring to computers. I have heard several, but none have struck me as being particularly correct or all inclusive.

Ihave been on Y!A for about about a month and have answered a bunch of questions, but have yet to contct anyone on my Fan or Contact list. Tday I recieved a message saying that XXXXXX 'is now connected to you on Yahoo!', but the address is 'do not reply'. We are both trying to getting in touch, but I don;t know the procedure. Could someone please explain the steps to follow? Remeber - I am an old baby boomer and while my life exeriences include many things, computers are not yet my strong point, so abbrevations may confuse me at this point. Thanks to anyone, and everyone, who takes the time to try and help. I will keep and eye on this question and add any further info required.
