I have ridden xc mountain bikes for sometime now and i would like to start ridding some street bmx. im at school and its pretty much a concrete play ground waiting to be ridden. i dont know much about bmx bikes and would prefer a lighter bike but im not really sure if there is much difference between brands or cost when it comes to lighter bikes. with mountain bikes the lighter the more expensive and i havnt really seen that trend with the bmx bikes i have been looking at.

does anyone have any recomendations for bikes. i have 500-600 i that i can spend on one but i dont want to be a newb buying the best bike out there either. so if i can get something comparible for 200-300 i would just as well do that.

i guess im just looking for recomendations of companys and specific bikes to consider buying

I have heard of people getting there dodge rams to sit level with something called a leveling kit. who makes this kits and i guess how do they work. any information on these would be great. i drive a 2wd dodge ram and i just want it to sit straight. and from what i have found these kits aren't to terribly expensive. would i be able to install it myself? any info and links would be great.

I am considering buying a blackberry curve and want to know how much adding a data plan to my current bill would be. I already have some sort of family plan with nights and weekends and a certain amount of minutes every month. there is four of us on the family plan, how much would it be to add internet and email and that stuff to a blackberry phone?

i know that on a bike with multiple gears the chainrings teeth are cut at an angle to allow it to change easier whereas a single speed chain ring has straight teeth. what is this called? im trying to buy a new chaing ring to make a singlespeed and i want to look to make sure that the teeth arent cut at an angle.

i am thinking about buying a new chain ring to convert my bike to a single speed. i know most cogs are have about 16 teeth. is a 32 or 33 teeth chain ring good for a single speed?

I have a 07 stumpjumper M4 ht. im not sure what kind of drop out it has but i figure someone out there knows. what kind of conversion kit or what do i need to make it a single speed.

and also i know a kid that converted his and he had to get new cranks to convert his. would i have to do the same?

has anyone ever used a site called MoneyBookers Company to pay someone. i am considering buying a car from a fellow and trying to see if it is legit. he wants to use MoneyBookers as a method of payment. can anyone tell me anything about them or if you have used them?

i am moving to the lower appalachian mountains and the trails there are very different from where i live now. i have ridden there before and the trails are very very rooty and have like boulders. not so much loose rocks but solid boulders.

i realize this is a very open question and could get thousands of answers but if anyone had any good suggestions i would really appreciate it.

i like to watch movies or listen to music while i am goign to sleep. but i want my computer to turn off if i fall asleep or something. is there a program that can download (free) or even if it costs a little bit, is there a program that is like a sleep timer. something kinda whats on all ipod or tvs.

i do no like clipless pedals. i had a bad experience and couldnt get out while falling. i want something modern but like the older style strap in pedals. you know the ones that is like a regular pedal but has a strap to go over regular shoes? is there a pedal that is one piece and is like that or am i going to have to buy pedals and buy the straps seperate?

i know what lock out does but im not sure what the rest of these do. can someone explain it to me?

ive heard of people putting tape on there frames to protect it. i have been looking around at 3M products but im not really sure what im looking at. if theres anyone out there that has put some clear tap or something on there bike would you let me know what it is so i can check it out? i just spent way more then i should on a specialized stumpjumper and i want to make sure it looks pretty its whole life.

im considering buying a bike from a guy in london. he wants to use royal mail to ship the bike to the states. ive never delt with royal mail and i dont know anything about it. i just want to make sure i cant be scammed and that royal mail is reliable. also do they have like 'collect on delivery' type thing that ups, fedex and usps have?

i have been searching all over craigslist for a 2006 or 2007 specialized stumpjumper ht or fsr, cant decide yet. does anybody know of a better place to find used bikes? craigslist isnt that user friendly.

i will be a junior this fall in mechanical engineering. this summer i have taken a job as a coop design engineer at SCE&G (South Carolina Electric and Gas). they provide natural gas and electricity to much of south carolina and parts of north carolina and georgia. however most of the work i do is strictly civil. the reason why i am thinking about changing to civil engineering is because i really like what i do and i really like what the civil engineers i deal with do. mostly how they are developing pretty much entire citys one step at a time. i really like the layouts they plan and how much money is involved and how they have an image in theyre head of how everything is going to look. this would pretty much be my last chance to switch majors. at this point the mechanical and civil majors have not differed much to point where switching would not give me any problems. so if there are any eng out there with some advice i would really like to hear it.

i got xbox live about 3 weeks ago and ive been playing call of duty 4 alot but i want to find some other games that would be great to play online or offline doesnt matter. anybody have any recomendations?

has anyone heard about when 2009 mountain bikes are coming out and if there are any pictures posted anywhere of the bikes to come out?

my cousin gave me his xbox 360 when he got married a few weeks ago and ive been playing it a little bit lately and it is very loud. it is almost to loud to be able to hear the game without turning it up redicuously. im not sure when the 360 was made or what edition or whatever it is. if you tell me what to look for i can tell find it and better describe how old or what components are in there. i think it has to do something with whatever spins to the disk to so it can be read. any help would be great. thanks
