I just found out that I'm pregnant yesterday, so I'm about 3 to 4 weeks. I just want to know if I should start prenatals now or wait for my appointment with my doctor? I found some really great all natural vitamins at the drugstore, the pharmacist recommended them. I read somewhere that the most critical time in a baby's development were during the first few weeks where you should be getting plenty of folic acid, and most doctors won't see you until your about ten weeks... I'm wondering if it's the right thing to do to start them on my own?

I found out I was pregnant early using First Response, which I highly recommend by the way, but anyway I am cramping, mildly, and have been all week. It's making me feel like my period is going to start any moment. I am not bleeding or spotting, I do have the white muscousy discharge though, sorry if TMI. Anyone else experience this and if so for how long? Thanks!

I'm just curious as to how many people out there have gotten the vaccination for their children or for themselves? My daughter, age 5, had an appointment today and her doctor was really kind of pushing me to get the vaccination for her. I'm afraid that it will do more harm than good, possibly because of the negative media attention this vaccine has gotten. What are your thoughts? All comments are appreciated.

My dog just started bleeding today for the first time. I'm unsure of how to take care of this. Do they make something specifically for dogs to wear during this time or do we just have to improvise with human toiletries?
