  • Any Kamelot albums *not* worth buying?

I've heard a handful of their stuff on my symphonic/progressive Pandora station, and I saw them when they opened for Nightwish a few months ago. Bought "The Black Halo" and am now kicking myself for not having gotten it sooner.

Any of their albums that *aren't* worth picking up? I'd like to grab a couple more but don't know how any of them compare to the epicness of Black Halo.

    Thanks...

  • Powered USB hub that supplies power at ALL times?

In my limited experience with powered USB hubs, the ones I've seen ONLY pass power (supplied by the wall-wart) to peripherals when the hub senses +5v from whatever host it may be plugged in to.

Anyone know of hubs that pass power REGARDLESS of the hub being connected to a host? I.E., if I take JUST the hub and wall-wart - DON'T connect it to a PC - and plug something like a mouse or keyboard into the hub, I want that mouse or keyboard to power up...

    Thanks...

  • Who is doing background vocals on RHCP "I'm With You"?

On the new Red Hot Chili Peppers album it sounds like there's a female vocalist doing backups on some tracks - namely "Did I Let You Know" - but I don't see any credits in the liner notes. Anyone know who it is? Does Josh Klinghoffer just have a really high voice?

    Thanks...

  • Actor besides Elijah Wood in FX's "Wilfred" commercials?

Okay, just trying to see if I'm going further out of my mind or not, but I SWEAR that the first few commercials I saw for FX's "Wilfred" had another actor in the role of Ryan besides Elijah Wood. All the ones I've seen in the past few weeks have obviously had Wood in them, and all the TV-related websites only mention Wood for the role. Is there any chance they originally had Adam Zwar reprising the role, then put Wood in late in the game?

    Thanks...

  • Style of music on KMFDM's "Hau Ruck"?

I keep getting "Professional Killer" on one of my Pandora stations and love the guitars & vocals. Is the rest of the album at all similar?

  • The lead singer for Kill Hannah is a...guy?

So I've heard a couple of Kill Hannah tunes on Pandora, like "Lips Like Morphine", and it's good stuff - but I've always thought it was a woman singing. (Like, Courtney Love meets Shirley Manson, y'know?)

Am I the only one that was in disbelief when they found out the vocalist is a dude?

  • How are Shinedown's previous albums...?

...compared to "The Sound Of Madness"?

I remember when these guys first came out with "Fly From The Inside" being played on the radio in my area, thinking "Wow... This is great - these guys have potential", yet somehow TSOM is the first album by them that I actually bought.

How do their previous albums hold up in comparison to this one? Just as good? Almost as good? Almost as good with a few honkers? Production/writing/performance just as good?

I'm only aware of two previous albums - if there are others I should check out, let me know please.

    Thanks...

  • Similar violin-based music to National Treasure - Book Of Secrets soundtrack tune?

If anyone has watched the movie National Treasure - Book Of Secrets, shortly after the beginning of the final credits there is a very upbeat - and IMHO, moving - passage featuring some violin playing.

For anyone that's familiar with what I'm talking about, could you suggest some songs/artists that feature similar performances, please? I'm interested in trying to seed a Pandora station with your suggestions to see what comes up.

Does this classify as a "classical" genre? It sounds a little more modern than what comes to my mind when I think of the term "classical", but then again - I'm a rock 'n roll kinda guy, so please pardon the ignorance.

    Many thanks in advance.

  • Do prices on leftover 2009 model vehicles go down automatically when dealers get 2010 models?

Do they go down to or below invoice at all, or do I need to hold out until the fall for that to happen?

    Thanks...

  • Trying to remember artist/song based on video...?

This was back in the 80's. I'm thinking Depeche Mode or a similar band. All I can remember from the video were a couple of characters (not band members) dressed in strange, brightly colored costumes, hitting each other like they were dueling Jack in-a-boxes...

Thanks in advance to any takers on this one...
