Calculus - Volume of a solid?
Hello...I'm really stuck...
Need to find the volume of a solid bounded by...
Y = 6-x^2
Y = 2
And rotated around the y-axis...
Set up my integral as...
Integral[6,2] pi((6-y)^1/2)^2 dy
Which simplified to...
Pi*integral[6,2] (6-y) dy
After I took the integral...I got an answer of 22pi...book says 8pi...
Am I mistaken...or is it a book typo?
