  • Dispute over contract takeovers?

    Hi

I took out a contract with a satellite repair company in 2007 for 4 years and paid in full at the outset. Subsequently they ceased trading and the contract has been taken over/brought out twice and my contract is now "owned" by a third party company.

I have approx 18 months to run on this contract and since having dealings with the repair company that is now in possession of my contract and the differing way that the company works I have been informed that my previous contract is now null and void and that I now have to abide by their terms conditions and promises. Some of which I originally was sold the contract on and the only reasons I took up their offer.

I'm wondering as to where I stand in this matter as I now feel I'm getting less than what I originally paid for and being forced into accepting this new companies terms conditions and promises which I did not originally purchase.

    Many thanks in anticipation.
