My 12 year old Terrier Feist has just been diagnosed with diabetes. We've taken her to the vet, learned to give her shots of insulin, bought new food etc. The Vet let me give the first shot, the next morning as my hubby gently held her collar, I gave her the morning shot, then later, her evening shot. The next day, my hubby sat on the floor with her and held her collar as I started to give her the shot, she broke free and attacked my husband, biting him, and coming at him yet again. We tried yet another time and she did the same but no biting. I don't know what to do. I don't want the rest of her life to be being afraid of us because we would have to force her to have every shot, twice a day, any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.

My dog is an 11 year old Terrier Fiest, she's about 36 pounds. Lately she's been trying to bite me or my husband if we go near her for various reasons, like if we get a little to close to her food, or just when we go to walk around her, she'll go for our feet, growling. She has bitten us and my daughter. She's in great health, goes to the vet on a regular basis, and is in no pain, or sick. Thanks for any info you may have.
