  • Making an outdoor accent company...tips on advertising/promotion?

My cousin and I are forming a company that makes gazebos, ponds, and other outdoor accents for customers, both from scratch and from pre-assembled kits. We have some experience in these areas, but we're still only teenagers, and we don't have much money for advertising, so where would be the best places to advertise ourselves? Thanks!

  • A quick question about back alley doctors...?

I've heard a lot in the news and online about back alley abortionists. My question is: are there other back alley doctors with different specialties(e.g. chiropractors)? If so, where can I find a back alley chiropractor? And if not, is a back alley abortionist also able to do back alley chiropractic work? Thanks in advance!

  • What schools offer a forensic accounting masters?

I know that Florida Atlantic offers a masters degree in Forensic Accounting, but I would like to know, what other schools offer this or a similar masters program? A list would be great, because so far all I've found are regular Accounting masters programs, with no specific concentration. Thanks!

  • Calculus Questions, Need Help!!!?

If anyone could show me how these problems are worked out, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks! = )

    1. For the equation given below, a) set up an integral for the length of the curve over the given interval and b) find the length of the curve.

    y= (e^x+e^-x)/2, [-3,3]

    2. The graph of the equation x^(2/3)+y^(2/3)=1 is one of the family of curves called astroids because of their star-like appearance. Find the length of this particular astroid by finding the length of half the first quadrant position, y= (1-x^(2/3))^(3/2), [sq.root(2)/4, 1], and multiplying by 8.

  • Looking into double major: Would it be worth it?

I am going to begin attending college next fall and I have an idea of what I want to major in, but I am currently seeking input on whether or not it would be worth the trouble. I am looking to double major in Supply Chain Management and Global Leadership. The Global Leadership also has an option for a 5th year that would yield a masters degree in International Relations. So I am wondering if, after 5 years of study, Bachelors degrees in Supply Chain Management and Global Leadership with an accompanying Masters degree in International Relations would lead to a more lucrative job than obtaining a degree in just one of those fields. What do you guys think? Thanks!

  • Mitt Romney potential VP candidates?

Of the 5 legitimate contenders in both parties (Obama, Clinton, McCain, Romney, and Huckabee), all but Romney are basically locked in with one or two potential VP candidates

John McCain- Joe Liebermann (been close for a long time) or Mike Huckabee (gets the evangelicals McCain so desperately wants)

Mike Huckabee- John McCain (gets liberal votes) or Sam Brownback (also very religious)

Hilary Clinton- Evan Bayh (Bill loves him)

Barack Obama- someone close to Ted Kennedy, with whom Barack probably made a deal with (Christopher Dodd is my best bet)

That leaves only Mitt. My personal choices for him would be Duncan Hunter, Newt Gingrich, Alan Keyes, or Bill Frist, but I obviously have no say in this choice. Who do you think he'll choose?

  • New Generation in tennis?

Think about it: This Wimbledon, of the final 8, only one was over 25(Juan Carlos Ferrero). Furthermore, only three are over 22(Ferrero, Roddick, and Federer). The others, Nadal(21), Baghdatis(22), Gasquet(21), Djokovic(20), and Berdych(21), along with Andy Murray (20, withdrew from Wimbledon due to wrist injury), have all won at least 1 ATP title, 3 have made it to multiple Grand Slam semi-finals(Djokovic, Nadal, Baghdatis), 2 have made it to a Grand Slam final(Baghdatis, Nadal), 2 have beaten Federer(Murray once, Nadal eight times), and if there was a tennis Sweet-Sixteen, all of them would be in it(Baghdatis is the lowest-ranked out of the bunch at 16th). Is this the coming of the new generation of tennis, and if so where will this one rank among other generations?

  • trying to start a high school lacrosse team?

I live in northwest Indiana and have just recently started playing lacrosse. I started a summer league with some friends and many of us are interested in starting a team at my high school. The problems are: 1. Our school is low on available money due to decreased funding and 2. Only one other school in our area has a team. This means that we would have to play mostly teams downstate in the Indy region. What are some ways for us to raise all the money for equipment, transportation, insurance, and hotel and food costs, and how much would all of this likely cost?
