Names spelled backwards?
What do you think of the trend for "backwards" spelled names? Singer Sonny Sandoval of the rock group P.O.D named his daughter Nevaeh in 2000, and I have run into quite a few Nevaeh's myself. I personally think it is a little disturbing to name a child something (especially something like Heaven) spelled backwards.

I have tried www.isc.ro and am not overly crazy about it. Does anyone know of a good place to play Scrabble online? I am looking for a nice, tidy site that is user friendly and downloads quickly. Thanks!
2 AnswersBoard Games1 decade agoIs the Bull Terrier affected by Ontario's Bit Bull ban (Bill 132)?
I own Dalmatians, however our Dal breeder (from New York) also breeds Bull Terriers. Every time I visit the breeder, I fall more and more in love with these goofy, lovable dogs. Some day in the future, I would like to own of a bully. Are they in any way affected by Ontario's recent breed specific legislation regarding pit bulls? The law states that:
Under the amendments to DOLA, pit bull is defined as:
* A pit bull terrier
* A Staffordshire bull terrier
* An American Staffordshire terrier
* An American pit bull terrier
* A dog that has an appearance and physical characteristics substantially similar to any of those dogs.
Bullies obviously don't full under the first four catagories, but what about the last one? Is there a possiblity a cracky police officer or dog catcher could label a Bull Terrier in this catagory? I want to cover all my bases before actually getting one of these fantastic dogs.
5 AnswersDogs1 decade agoWhen is it appropriate to bring a new love interest to family functions?
I come from a very large immediate and extended family, and we are all very close. We often hold family gatherings to celebrate holidays, birthdays, and the like. Obviously, we all introduce our significant others to the family as soon as feel feel there is something substantial going on. What I am curious about, is when is it appropriate to bring your new date to family functions? It's not an issue of acceptance; my family is very inclusive. I am more concerned about the fact that unfortunately, many relationships don't last. Is it fair, especailly to all the little ones in the family, to continually bring a different guy (or girl) to family functions? Does bringing a different date to every dinner undermine the idea that family is forever? Is it unreasonable for a couple to wait until they have been together for a certian period of time before making a dual appearance at a family function? I am interested in your thoughts.
