  • What is the cost of the inauguration?

We complain about the cost of bailouts and the number of troops deployed, but why are there more security personnel (military, National Guard and Law enforcement) than in Afghanistan (42,500 vs. 31,000) and Obama's inauguration substantially more than Bush (150 million vs. 15 million)

  • Shouldn't a vote for "Change" mean all new representatives?

We can't just vote for Republican or Democrat. Change means replacing the system that is in place. People put down Bush for an approval rate in the thirties, but what about the Democratic controlled Congress and Sentate with approval rates in the teens? All incumbants, regardless of party must go if we do want change and to bring a new voice to government. The President has term limits - why not Senators and Congressional Representatives?

  • Are college students behind Obama because they won't have to try in school any more?

Vice President nominee Joe Biden has a long history of plagiarism - not just in stealing lines from British Labor Party leader Neal Kinnock, but throughout his college career resulting in Mike Dukakis running an attack video about his plagiarism during their 1987 primaries and Newsweek printed Joe Biden’s yearbook picture from his college days and a copy of his law school transcripts with the big “F” in his transcripts circled.

  • Should we change the focus of our schools?

Studies show that our high school students are not prepared entering colllege. In math and science we are consistently behind Asian countries. Given that Joe Biden will probably win Vice President and has a long history of plagiarism in school and in public speaking should we just advise our students to cheat? Apparently you can learn nothing, cheat your way through education and still get a powerful job. Why try when you can lie?

  • Country behind Obama?

The media loves some Obama. People keep talking about him, showing their support and believing. I almost might have to vote for him and put him in power. What will happen to the will and dreams of these people when he wins and screws things up even more? Sorry to get your hopes up, but the country has so many checks and balances things will go unchanged and the great hype of change and hope will go unanswered.

  • Debate bracelet story?

Both candidates have a bracelet from a fallen military person. Why did Obama have to stop and read who his was from? Shouldn't he know that?

  • Obama's talks with leaders?

McCain talked about Obama meeting and holding talks with our enemies. Obama said as President he will meet whom he wants and where he wants. Why does he think the world leaders will care and bow to him wishes? It isn't going to happen that way. We are not the world leader we once were and they are not going to let us call the shots all the time.

  • Young voters and Obama?

How many will be turned off when they realize he is the same age as their parents? They don't think their parents are cool. Why is he?

  • When did I become "upper class"?

Obama and Clinton say they want to end Bush tax cuts for the wealthiest Americans because they do not need it and did not ask for it. Now today they vote to approve a Democratic budget that would allow income tax rates to go up on individuals making as little as $31,850 and couples earning $63,700. That is hardly upper class!
