Why isn't my wife green?
I just went into the laundry room to get the laundry out of the washer to hang outside to dry. My wife beat me to it and was drying it in the dryer. When I told her that I wanted to hang it outside, she responded, "why"? We have been married for 7 years and I have been the primary laundry washer. I have always hung the clothes out, but my wife often beats me to it and dries it, even on a nice summer day. It isn't because she doesn't like the crunchy feel of line-dried laundry, I think it is more a case of environmental ignorance. What is a man to do?
13 AnswersGreen Living1 decade agoGoogle window popped up warning that I was setting the defualt search engine to Yahoo.?
I updated my Yahoo toolbar and then clicked OK to confirm to set the default to Yahoo. It was already set to Yahoo, so I didn't bother to click off of it. The strange thing was that after I clicked OK, a Google icon popped up in my taskbar warning me that a program was attempting to change my default search engine. I do not have any Google programs loaded, so why is this message there? I have heard of the concerns of Google's invasion of privacy, so I assume this is another attempt. How can I find and delete all traces off Google?
3 AnswersSecurity1 decade agoI inadvertently became a redneck. Now what?
I am in my mid 30's, married, have two children, bought a house in a rural small town, got a pickup truck and suddenly realized that I now what I had always despised. It all started quite simply. I got married, had a child and then the wife decided that we needed to buy a house. The problem is that she is a career student, so we are living off my income. So, when she started looking at house loans, she found a no down payment government loan that required us to buy a house in a rural town. I had always biked to work, so my wife's car was always enough. But, now that we would be living out of town, my father-in-law offered to give me his old pickup, so that I would have a vehicle. So, now, I can no longer cycle to work, and have to drive miles to go shopping. This is how I became a redneck. Guess I'm SOL. Any advice?

The city has informed our commission that we cannot have closed meetings (work sessions). I have been under the assumption that as a non-governing body, our commission was exempt from such regulations. Any thoughts on this?
