8 AnswersLaw & Legal1 decade agoSo.. My mother in law gave me a Thanksgiving "project"... Help?
I've hosted Thanksgiving at my home two years in a row. I thought I did a fairly good job, less a couple of minor setbacks, but nothing major. This year my mother in law is hosting Thanksgiving and I asked what I could do to help. She gave me the project of making... get ready.... Banana Pudding. So.. obviously she thinks I can't handle anything harder than putting pudding and cookies in a bowl. I'd like to blow her project out of the water. Please let me know if you have an idea of how to make this the best banana pudding on the face of the earth. I'm thinking graham cracker crumble or something like that.. Thanks!! :)
9 AnswersThanksgiving1 decade agoHow do we move past my affair?
Background: My husband and I have been together for 7 years. We are best friends and have 3 beautiful children together. About a year ago, I cheated one time. Our relationship had been a rocky one for 2 years or more and I was lonely. I let someone in emotionally and made this huge mistake.
Recently, my husband and I have been working hard on our relationship. He is more devoted to me than I could have ever asked for and I am devoted to him whole heatedly. We wanted to start with a clean slate and confess anything that may have been weighing on us that the other didn't know. I admitted my affair. This has been close to a month ago. I have done everything in my power to show him my devotion and my guilt for what I did and ensure him that it will never happen again. Our relationship is wonderful. I have my husband back- plus more than I could have ever asked for. But, I'm scared that he'll never be able to put my affair behind him. I'm scared I'll lose what we have together. Is there anything I can do to make him feel more comfortable and secure with me?

3 AnswersToddler & Preschooler1 decade agoBad Neighbors- Help Please?
When we moved in to our new house a we are surrounded by 3 neighbors from the same family. Every since we moved in they have been harassing us or what we feel is harassment. Their main form of torture on us has been our trash can for trash pick up. We are at the end of the road and it is a half mile that is half paved half black top. We have a full can every week so at first we tried to leave it at the end of the road. The neighbors kept moving it in the middle of the road and calling it in to have it picked up. Anyway it has been picked up several times. Big headache...Well the other night my kids are playing in the driveway with some other kids up the road and the police get called. Seems like they are watching us and every move we make they are on top of it. Feels very oppressive in its current state and it is really sad because this is our first "home" but it does not feel that way. My dad has experience with these people and seems to think they are trying to run us off so they can purchase the house..It was my Granny's. Is there anything we can do legally in Kentucky?

1 AnswerSoftware1 decade agoMy children are destructive. How do I correct that?
I am completely outnumbered and I need some help settling the chaos. I have 3 children - 4,2,and 1. My 4 year old is destructive. She'll get a drink and throw the cup in the floor, she'll pour drinks out on the carpet, she'll tear up DVD, she'll knock a pile of clean and folded clothes off into the floor... etc etc... I want to correct this for good before she teaches her little sisters that it is okay to act this way. Please help.
P.S. Before anyone says this - I do watch my kids. I'm split in 3 directions and she uses that to her advantage.

16 AnswersNewborn & Baby1 decade agoHusband wants to leave to make things better?
My husband struggles with depression... mostly because of his own inner conflicts. He mentioned to me the other day that he wanted to leave to go live with his parents (two counties away) for a while so he can find a job, save up to buy his own car, and get his life straight - and in the end, benifit us. We have 3 kids and he hasn't held down a solid job for longer than 3 months since we met 5 years ago. I want to support him in this because he says that this is what he needs to focus on getting his life straight so he can better mine and our girls' lives... but he doesn't know how long he plans to be gone. What do I do?
