I met this awesome girl at this new years party. We talked for a while and had a good time and I got her number before she left. I texted her after and talked to her for a couple of days and asked her out to dinner. Only problem is that it's terrible timing...I'm home from college for winter break and have to leave to go back in literally 2 days (and she goes to college locally so she'll stay right here). I already told her about this. I think she's cute and I like her but I don't know if she'll want to consider dating now that I'm going back (but then again, she DID agree to the date while knowing that I go to college on the other side of the country). I think it's too early to commit to anything since we're gonna only have gone on one date, but what do I do when I'm on the other side of the country to keep the spark going until I come back and have more time to spend with her?

We didn't drink much (which is good I guess cause it means we weren't just being drunk lol) and had a fun time together. After the party, we hung out at her apartment, cuddled and fell asleep.

After that, I saw her for a lunch date and a dinner date, both of which went well....we both had a good time, and they both ended with lots of kissing and cuddling. I really like her (and I'm pretty sure she feels the same way), and I want to ask her to be my gf before it gets too late...but I also dont want to rush it cause I dont want her to feel overwhelmed.

Should I ask her (try to make it official) on the next date? How should I word it??
