Korea striker Lee scored (he didn't miss the golden opportunity to score). It looked like Sanchez was confused and didn't know what was going on. He complained to the referee. This friendly game took place in Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. That was the funniest soccer game, because one person made a bet that Mexico will win, but after the game was over, he didn't say anything. Later, he said, "HE MADE A MISTAKE!" Hiddink coached the Netherlands in WC'98, Korea in '02, and Australia in '06. He led the Netherlands and Korea to the semifinal round and Australia to the round of 16. Those teams had good results, so Russia should get good results, too.

I don't think he coached Brazil really well, so why should he be hired to coach South Africa if he did not coach the #1 team really well?

Hiddink coached Korea back in 2002 and when he started coaching Australia, the Socceroos were getting good results.

Since Korea was tied with France and France beat Brazil, my friend said that this is the proof that Korea could actually beat Brazil.

I do remember Brazil losing to France in 1998 World Cup. I think Brazil could have done better this year.

To me, I don't trust him at all. He gave Switzerland too many favors, probably because the FIFA co. is in Switzerland. Others agreed that the referee gave Switzerland all these chances and that he called the offside kick "goal", which proves he is a liar. I can't believe they picked the wrong referee for the final game.

Korea's coach has an excellent experience in Europe so he could know Switzerland's weaknesses
