What is a good home-made coffee for a beginner?
I ve never liked coffee. I just can t enjoy the taste. But lately, I need to be able to hit the ground running in the morning, which is hard, not being a morning person. Left to my own devices, I don t feel functional until noon, and that doesn t work anymore.
After some poking around on the internet, I ve learned how to make coffee and some coffee lingo, but I m at a loss when comes to picking what kind of coffee to buy at the store. I m willing to spend a bit more for something that will taste better, and I m looking for a lighter roast that I can dilute with cream and sugar as I get used to the taste. I m also not looking to grind my own beans, since that requires equipment and time that I m not willing to invest if I m not sure whether I can get used to the taste yet. Any ideas where to begin?
5 AnswersNon-Alcoholic Drinks6 years agoDo you prefer to have a betta or a goldfish?
I have a ten gallon fish tank that I'm thinking about getting up and running again. I was hoping to put it in the living room for my preschooler to watch, but I'd rather not deal with getting a school of fish again. Instead, I was thinking about getting either a betta or a goldfish to put in there. I've kept many bettas, but I've never had a goldfish. Since I used to work in a pet store, I'm familiar with the differences in their care, but I can't decide which would be more fun. Does anyone have any opinions?
25 AnswersFish6 years agoIs it possible to be stung by a wasp or bee in the winter?
My daughter, who is three, was walking in the house from the car last night when she started acting funny. When we got her inside and looked at her face, the area around her eye was swelling, like she had run into something. As the swelling progressed, we realized she had a small puncture wound under her eye. After a while, the swelling went down and we put her to bed.
This morning, she woke up with puffiness around both eyes and her nose bridge. Benadryl has reduced the swelling somewhat, but we are baffled as to how this happened. I m in the American Midwest, where the temperature for the last few weeks has been in the 20s or 30s. How did she get stung? What else could it be?
