So a friend of mines and his associates from China ordered around 750k worth of luxury cars from this dealership called 888 auto in California. This was around 3 months ago and they never received their vehicle which was to be headed for Tianjin port. They have tried to contact this person many times but each time he never responded, and he even provided fake documents for as proof of "shipment".

Right now we are trying to contact the police, and a lawyer. However, since they are buying from overseas I am unsure where I should file complaints first, any one having any experience with this please give some advice I would be very grateful.

So here's the problem. There is an elevator w/ 5 people equally likely to get off at any floor. What is the probability that no two passengers will get off the same floor.

This is what I have so far, but please correct me if I'm wrong.

Total possible outcome = 7P5

since 7 floors and 5 passengers getting off equally likely.

But I'm not sure how to calculate the event outcome permutation.

What does all but finitely many means in math.

Does it mean there's infinitely many.

Or does it mean (infinitely or finitely) many, e.g. a p or q statement.

This question is for the people in this major in UCSC and those about to declare, or someone in UCSC who knows a lot about it. I'm a freshman but very interested in business and econ. But I don't know what exactly does Biz Econ teach, unlike most schools which have Bus. Management Acct., Finance, Marketing, etc.

Here's the deal. My boyfriend is going to NY to visit his family. I am 18, and has never traveled out of the state so he decided to surprise me and bought a ticket for me. However, my parents disapprove of me going to NY because they want me to stay home and study and claim that I haven't dated him long enough (7 months, known him for 2 yrs). Also, my parents are on a tight budget so they don't want to waste money. They also wouldn't feel right using his $600 to buy my ticket, and the additional expense of living with his family for 2 weeks and plus shopping expenses. The tickets are non refundable. They say they are going to pay him back $600 for the ticket and make me stay at home. My question is how do I convince my parents to let me go on the trip?

I'm a freshmen with a prospective business major. I want to know if I should study for GMAT earlier so I can get into an MBA program and if I could how to get into one.

This question is intended for transfer students who made it to a UC in two years or less. I want to know what classes I need to take to transfer, I currently finished my fall semester awaiting grades but my GPA is sure to be 3.0+ as I haven't got lower than a B in any of my test. I know that UC Berkeley might have a different admission requirement for transfer, so if you're talking about specific admissions please say to which UC. NOTE: I AM NOT ASKING ABOUT IGETC, I AM TOTALLY AWARE OF IGETC REQUIREMENTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So far I'm intending to go to UCSC closest one of course, I called their admission and they say I that the GE I need is 2 english courses, 4 interdisciplinary from at least 2 fields (science, art, humanities, music) and with a total of 60 transferable credits. What I don't get is how come the GE for transfer students is like we can take pretty much what we want as long as there is at least 2 different fields is that true? or do we need to fulfill the GE that UC students need?

And 2nd which UC do you guys recommend for business or economics? Don't just load up with UC Berkeley. Cause from what I hear UC Berkeley is GOOD AT EVERYTHING. Please at least explain why they are good for that major thanks a lot. PEACE!!

Ok this question is mainly for ppl who recently got out of AIT in Ft. Gordon's Signal's as you see I'm 25 series (Cable Maintenence). I want to know whether I can use a laptop and a cellphone. My recruiter said I could use both but I'm not betting so much on use of a laptop.

I'm shipping off at June 18th, and my recruiter said I would be back by Mid August or so. But I want to know the exact lenght of this particular 25L AIT. Any info about this AIT would be appreciated. Thank you.

He has no other tools. He can only jump across. But he can make a safe jump landing how?
