Which First Lady made a huge impact on a social issue?
I have to write an essay, here is the prompt
“Please discuss in detail how one of the First Ladies (since 1933) has made an impact on a social
issue in the United States.”
I think Eleanor Roosevelt, or Nancy Reagan seem to be very influential first ladies in regards to a social issue in the US.
1 AnswerOther - Social Science8 years agoHow do I record my voice onto a CD?
I am competing in a scholarship competition, but I need to record myself reading my essay. I also have to burn the recording onto a CD. I have a Macintosh computer, how do I do all of this?

A few months ago, I bought a guitar with a Floyd Rose Tremolo. It was working fine until I noticed the bridge was not parallel to the body. I went through my manual, I tightened the screws in the back of the guitar. I tightened the screws about 1/4 turn (like the manual said) then tuned my guitar. I repeated this process until the bridge was in line with the body of my guitar. After I was done, I tuned it one more time and as soon as I locked the nut again it went out of tune. So I unlocked the nut, tuned it again, locked it and it went out of tune. It kept un-tuning itself every time I locked the nut. So I gave up. Today, I wanted to play my guitar but I noticed the bridge tension was too tight. So I loosened the screws in the same process as before (but this time I am loosening and not tightening). I would loosen the screws, then tune it. I repeated that until the bridge was parallel. And now it is doing the same thing as before, it would go out of tune every time I locked the nut.
I know it is a lot to read, but I hope someone could help me.
Remember, it is a Floyd Rose bridge

So, I have always been a guitar kind of guy, I didn't care much about amps. But I want to get a Marshall in the future. I want a 100 watt Marshall. I saw a Marshall MG102FX Combo which is 100W. I also saw a Marshall Amp Head for a halfstack. Both of these amps are 100W, but the amp head is cheaper.
My Question is: Can I play through the amp head but with no Cab? Will it have the same loudness as the 100W combo, since both are 100W?
If they are the same amount of watts, and I could play through the head, I would buy that since its cheaper.
P.S. I'm pretty sure I want a Marshall, and not some other amp or amp company.

1 AnswerPsychology9 years agoIB and AP students, please help me!!!!!!!!?
I am in 11th grader in the IB program, I did it because I want to go to a german University, and IB, being international, would give me better options. I had taken many AP classes previously, and they were not as difficult, i had to skip a whole year in french due to schedule conflicts, and Biology does not seem to be what it used to be.
I may have to drop out of IB, but is it worth it?
I mean the 1st semester is almost over.
2 AnswersStandards & Testing10 years agoI NEED SERIOUS MATH HELP!!!!!?
All right, I am in the 11th grade, and we are working on trig. sin, cos, tan
My teacher explained it, and he expects us to do it without a calculator. He wants us to graph it then make a right triangle out of it, or something like that. anyway. I got most of that. And the formulas he gave us were sin=y/r cos=x/r tan=y/x
I got how to put cos150 degrees on a graph, and make the terminal side, etc. but I don't know how to get the side lengths (i.e. y/r, x/r, y/x)
He gave the example of Sin210degrees=-1/2 Cos210degrees=(-sqrt3)/2 Tan210degrees=1/(sqrt3)
Where is he getting the 2, sqrt3, and 1?????????????????????

I have two electric guitars. Each with a tune-o-matic bridge. I was thinking about getting an ESP LTD KH-202, which has a Floyd Rose Tremolo. I know that on a floyd rose one can tune on the bridge or the headstock, but I was wondering, when you tighten the nut do you have to loosen it if I want to tune the guitar.

I was on a website to make a custom ESP guitar. I wanted an ESP version of a Gibson Explorer. I wanted to know what kind of cutaway it has. The website said I could chose from a waist cutaway, elbow cutaway, both, or none.
What cutaway does an Explorer shape guitar have????

3 AnswersOther - Music1 decade agoDo you know who Ronnie James Dio is?
I was talking to my friends, and I told them I learned the main riff to Holy Diver by Dio on Guitar. They did not know who Dio was. I said "He was the man who invented \m/" They said "Well if he invented the devil horns I would know. I don't think he was that important." That pissed me off, so I want to know if their are any other besides me that knows one of the gods of metal

I have a Boss DS-1, but I am looking for a heavier sound, so I narrowed it down to the Boss Metal Zone MT-2, and the Boss Metal Core ML-2. I want to now which is better for Thrash Metal.

A zombie apocalypse or a vampire apocalypse. I say zombie because you can use garlic and what not on a vampire, and secondly if you have ever played nazi zombies you would understand.
