Baby Julie due 5/12

I've taken him to an eye doctor but they said they couldn't do anything about it and just have him wear sunglasses but the kids ones aren't strong enough. Is there anything else I can do for him?

My son's father signed the birth certificate but around christmas he took off to the other side of the state and I haven't heard from him, not even on my son's birthday. My husband has taken my son in pretty much as his own and we both want my son to have my husbands last name because we are expecting a daughter this May. Does this mean my son's father would have to sign off his rights first? And how do I go about doing that?

My mom's ex friend has a daycare in her home and charges $2 an hour for the kids. She has quite a few kids there and because her kids help out there as well she can have the amount of children she has. But her house is not what I would call clean. Theres food on the floor. Trash laying around. New puppies are playing where the kids are and aren't house trained yet. Instead of cleaning the spot of puppies pee they just towel dry the spot. The walls are dirty and it smells in the house. I don't understand how you could chose cheap daycare over the hygeine and cleanliness of the place. What do you guys think? Should this be allowed?

Will they just let me take them to his new doctors?

I'm 24 weeks and having terrible pain since about 16 weeks. My doc says its normal but I can hardly walk or stand for that long. Anyone else?

My friends little girl is almost 3 and has no disipline. When they come over to my house her daughter breaks things, throws toys at my son and screams at her mom. Her mom does nothing but shout at her which does no good because they shout back and forth. It's almost sad to see my friend having trouble with her and I try to give advice on time-outs and ways to teach her daughter to behave but she never takes my advice. My friend is always asks me to babysit or hang out with them but I can't stand her little girls behavior. What do I do?

I was just letting it be hoping it would flake off and heal up but now he's losing so much skin that its starting to hurt him. I used baby lotion on him better but never thought it helped. I need a healing type of lotion for him. He does not have sensitive skin. Whats the best lotion for him?

his sleeves or collar on his shirts get chewed on. This has just recently been a problem. I take his shirt off hoping he would get cold without it on and remember not to chew his shirt. I'm out of ideas. Anyone else have this problem?

like my pet peeves are parents not putting kids in carseats. or smoking around there kids or drinking around their kids.

I have a 4yo and now I'm having my first girl, I'm so scred I'm gonna do things wrong with a girl. I have 2 nephews and no nieces. All I know is boys, how am I gonna raise my little girl to be girly? Did anyone else feel this way?

Everytime she cries she shoves a bottle in her mouth. Lilly is 7 months old and weighs 22 lbs. but its not just that she cant hardly move and it makes me sad. She puts her to sleep with a bottle too. She makes one tiny sound and she puts the bottle in her mouth. And now she is spitting up alot everyday. None of the family will tell her she is feeding her too much either. Most of the time im around her she cries and i can tell she is tired not hungry.

Also do I take him to the funeral or not? I'm not sure I want him to see everybody crying and stuff, he's not used to it... Also he has a hard time staying still.

My son just reached 40lbs and his doctor said he can go into a booster seat now with just a shoulder belt over him but I still think he's to small yet. He's 40lbs. and 40in. I've heard that its best to keep kids in the harness as long as possible, We just moved him up to the highest level of his harness so he still fits fine. Is there any danger in keeping him in the harness atill? My son's seat looks like this one.
