Today I called in sick to my job since i have a cold and I called with 5 hours notice when they require 2 hours. My symptoms are running nose, sore throat, hurts to talk, high fever, coughing, and I can't concentrate on anything. I was told that was not a illegitimate excuse for calling in sick since I don't have any symptoms such as vomiting or diarrhea. They said that would try and find someone to cover my shift and I called back a few hours later and they were unable to find someone. They manager told me to take the day off anyway but warned me again that it was not a legitimate excuse for next time. I work in the food industry and I just don't think that people would want a sick waitress handing them their food. I'm just worried because I just started this job about a month ago and I don't want to get in trouble but someone came sick to work the other day and thats how I got sick.

My question is, is my manager right? Should I call back and say I will come to work anyway? Can I get in trouble for this?

I requested a few days off and was granted that request (Friday-Monday I was out of town) on a whim I decided to go into work and check my schedule Monday night and noticed that my boss changed the time I worked on Tuesday without calling or anything. The thing is though I couldn't tell if it was a change for Tuesday night or Wednesday (since it was written large enough to cover both). I came and worked on Tuesday but let the manager know I wasn't going to come into work Wednesday since I honestly didn't know. He said he would leave a note for the General Manager. My question is since I have to go back to work tomorrow I wanted to know if my boss is allowed to do that without consent or notice. Also I am an At-Will employee if that makes a difference.

Ok so here the deal. I am entering an AMV contest and need some help. I made this AMV and posted it on youtube to try and get some feedback before I have to turn it in because I want to fix anything that looks weird or doesn't fit or anything. only problem: No one has watched my AMV and I am turning it in Tuesday night. If you can please watch it and give some feedback so i can correct anything before I have to submit it. Either post something here or on youtube or what ever. Any criticism is welcomed except for saying that you hate AMVs or anime or what ever cuz I don't care.

In Naruto I know Hidan is immortal but how exactly. It is a jutsu or a bloodline limit or is that just how he was born? I couldn't find the reason in the manga and was wondering if they ever explain it.
