Help! I am delegated to teaching a co-worker how to do the job?
She has not shown that she has the skills or aptitude to learn the job. She wants to blame others - that we are not teaching her the way she needs (I am the 3rd person to get appointed to this task) but the truth is she is too scattered, not organized, and not really suited for the job. You can spend hours teaching her just one basic step (like how to fill out a simple form 1 page) and the next day she states she doesn't know how to do it and wasn't taught. You show her again and the same result. I hate to sound so harsh, and I worry that she will lose her job due to the fact that we just downsized as there is not another position for her to go to but I am seriously thinking I should bring this to the attention of my supervisor and bow out of teaching her. I am not worried how this will affect me with my job as I am leaving the company within the next 6 months and the last person to try to teach her was the supervisor and the supervisor experienced this too. However, my work is suffering and mental state as well, as my co-worker has a very angry and vicious tone when blaming me and everyone else (blames others for her inability to concentrate - we are in cubicles).
Any suggestions?

1 AnswerMaintenance & Repairs1 decade agoI am taking lisinopril w/hydrochlorothiazide for high blood pressure. Taking it now for 1.5 yrs. My question i?
is it possible to take just the lisinopril and do away with the duretic portion (obviously by going thru my Dr) because I am worried 1. the effects of the water pill long term on my kidneys (I am only 47); 2. My skin is so dry and nothing is helping that - I am looking so much older in face, arms and feet than my real age. I am turning into a wrinkled old prune.

1 AnswerInvesting1 decade agoWhy would you invest in CDs or Savings Accounts when it appears that the amount of interest you get paid ?
doesn't exceed the rate of inflation. Therefore it would seem to me that I park my money in a CD or Savings account (currenting maxing out at under 3%) that I would actually be losing money every year. (Please don't argue that your only losing purchasing power - that counts as dollars - I might as well spend it or do something else with it now that wait to my money is devalued).

When you look up a stock it has alot of key stats but I don't know what they mean. Can anyone explain them or suggest a good book - most of the books i have come across talk about the philosophy of investing etc but not the facts.
3 AnswersInvesting1 decade agoIf your an artist with a web site selling your art work, how do you work with indirect venues like galleries?
when they want your work for a show. You don't want to undercut the gallery (don't want a retail customer thinking they can get it cheaper by buying direct) because the reality is galleries are important because you get more exposure and possibly more sales (multiplying the marketing effort).

Also, note that I aleady market locally and the internet - I am asking about what city - whhat gallery - where should I be aspiring to?
6 AnswersPainting1 decade agoWhere can you SELL silver at actual spot price? Coin dealers will sell but when the price goes up (say 4xs) ?
coin dealers are willing to sell you Silver Eagles at $24 when spot is $20 but if spot goes to $100 where are you going to sell them? i overheard the coin dealer offering to buy a Eagle at $15 when spot was $20. So ok they make a profit - but if it goes way up and I want to sell several thousand dollars worth why should they buy it? I mean I am a store owner, I sell a product, I would just sit out the highs...I mean why would i buy your silver coin at spot and tie up my money (say $10,000 +) to wait to sell it just to make $5 or so dollars per sale - I mean geez how long would that take? Would I really want to tie up my money like that? I don't know - I'm new at this - I don't get what I am going to do with silver eagles when I feel it time to exit the market?
