Instead of buying an amplifier, can I use this stereo as an amp? The turntable has AUX outputs built in so I can directly connect it to the stereo system. But will it sound good?

Does this damage the record, the vinyl, anything else?

I bought a turntable to play vinyl records recently. The turntable has built in speakers but I would like to play the audio on some external speakers. The turntable has Aux outputs for both the L and R audio. The speakers I would like to play the audio on have the typical black and red, positive and negative set up. Sorry I don't know what the type of setup is called. So obviously I can't directly hook up the Auxilary cables for the L and R audio to the two wire setup on my speakers. So I was wondering do I need a Pre-amp, and Amp, a combination of both, an audio reciever, I am a complete newbie at this stuff. So please dumb down the responses so I can understand them , thanks. And if you recommend anything can you please share a link to a product I can use. THANKS!

The nob you pull on has two settings, half way pulled out and fully pulled out. It can also be rotated. How does it work? Also i believe to turn on high beams in an old car you press on the nob on the floor near the parking brake?

I bought a couple of bulbs and i was wondering how to determine which side is which because i submerged it partially in my substrate but I am not sure whether or not i put it right side up. I have a aponogeton, onion, and waterlily bulbs. Also once it starts the sprout can i move it before it starts to root down? Because i wanted to move it to the back of my fish tank but, right now i want to keep an eye on them to see if they are growing properly.
