whats the diet like and what type of workouts do you do to get a toned body?

Hey i have been working out for the past 2 months and recently my favorite shirts feels tight and not right. My friends say i am getting bulky and not cut as i want to be, how can i undo this and get cut? My body is the type were i can lose weight fast, put on muscle quite faster than most, but i can gain weight just as fast (fat not muscle) , thought i let you know this info so you can help me out.
