To all veggies - what did you have for Christmas dinner last year? Just wondering.

My (large) family are all veggie and my mums tried various things for Christmas dinner, but last year she decided to give us pasta. Seriously, this was the best Christmas we've ever had. (Probably also cause half the country was snowed in and no relatives came round lol).

But my friends all thought this was beyond wierd, having pasta at Christmas.

So I'm just wondering, what did you all have?

Which character do you think was the best written in the Harry Potter series? And do you agree with the actor they cast for that part?

I read this about 10 years ago. It's a kids book, fairly short, about a girl who finds/is given an old porcelain doll that contains/is linked to the ghost of a girl who died a long time ago. Stuff happens and the girl dies. The story ends with someone (her brother?) seeing the girl and the ghost playing with dolls. The girl was called Emma, which I remembered cause that's my name lol. Sorry that's all I can remember but if anyone knows this book that would be great! Thanks!

I read this book years ago. It was about a girl, I think she moves house or something, but there's an Anderson shelter in the back garden. She meets this woman who lived in the house who is mute since her mother was killed in the Blitz when she was a girl. I think there was something about ghosts in it too. Sorry that's all I can remember. I think it had the word Anderson in the title. Thanks so much!

I'm making cupcakes and I need a good white chocolate icing recipe. Not buttercream icing, but sugar icing, or the frosting you get on store bought cakes, the glaze type stuff.

I know Edinburgh was hit in the Blitz, but only a few times, nothing like Clydebank or cities down south. But what parts of it were bombed? I know they aimed for the industrial areas of Dalry, and the docks, but anywhere else?

Also, were children evacuated from this area at all?

I read somewhere that over 60,000 British civilians were killed in the Blitz, and during the course of WW2. That's apparently more than the number of British and Commonwealth soldiers killed. That doesn't seem right. Can anyone help? Thanks.

What would make a better time machine - a DeLorean DMC-12, or a 1960's British police box?

Preferably a relatively inexpensive one, that's good for treating acne? I'm fed up with the one I'm using now.

I'm trying to get the whole messed up teased look on my hair, and it looks really great. But my hairs so thick that it falls flat in a few hours and looks stupid. I've tried gel spray and hairspray and it doesn't last for long. My hairs bobbed to just below my ears, but its naturally really think and curly, so I have to start with it washed and straightened before I can do anything, so the washing it and leaving it thing doesn't work? Anyone got any ideas? Thanks!

I've had really bad acne on my chest and back since I was 12. Now I'm 22 it's getting ridiculous. My face has cleared up, but I tried using the same stuff on my chest and it just gives me a rash and blotchy skin. Is there anything I can use clear up my skin that'll actually work? Thanks!

I just got my hair cut, and it's horrible. It's squint, and the layers are messed up. If I mess it up with hairspray and gel then it looks ok, but I don't really want to use hairspray, since it's not exactly environmentally friendly. Is there anything I could use instead of hairspray that would have the same effect? Please help, it just looks awful!

I'm doing a story about a girl who nearly dies, but is left seeing ghosts everywhere. I can decide if she should be a high school senior student, or at college/university. Any ideas?
