  • Does anyone have two female dogs living happily together?

    I have a very dominant female and we want to get another dog, I have suggested in my experience (I have worked and trained dogs for 20 years) a male would be best. For some reason my Husband who doesn't train or work with dogs is set on getting another female, I can see nothing but conflict and potential fighting. What do you think about 2 females together?. The dog I have is Pembroke Welsh Corgi who I train and show for agility. We would be getting another herding dog as we are very active and it would suit our lifestyle. I would appreciate your input.

    Which do you think is better for you? Seems like Americans like to use a lot of butter on mashed potatoes and vegetables, I think gravy or sauce would be better for you. Let me know what you think

  • I have been told to walk a dog on a prong collar...?

    this is for a Christmas parade for a Humane Society. The dog is very dog aggressive and can be startled by children, who I am sure will all be at the parade waiting for the candy hand outs. I have never used this type of collar for my training of dogs in years, and am not sure I want to use it. They are hoping the dog will be adopted. What would you do in my situation? Would you walk this dog on a pinch or prong collar or not do it at all?

  • Have you trained your dog to sit and wait when visitors arrive?

    I just wondered if you have done this as I hate going to someone's house when the dog jumps up on you and tries to lick you. What have you done to help your dog? I have worked on this already with my dog, she is not perfect by any means but we are working well on it.
