While the Munich disaster is probably the best known sports-related air crash in history, the players of Manchester United and their fellow travellers are far from the only ones to have suffered this fate. On this day we would do well to remember all those athletes and others on board who have died in such circumstances, as well as all those whose lives have been unalterably changed.
