I have never been a "girly" girl... which hasn't been a problem for my husband, my son or any of our housemates thus far (they're all guys too) -- quite to the contrary, I think it's kept a lot of potential gender-related awkwardness at bay. :)

At my sonogram yesterday, though, we confirmed that I have a DAUGHTER coming in a few months. I'm completely thrilled, but the thought of raising a little girl is really rocking my world...

I would love some advice from other tomboy mamas on how you've handled raising a daughter. What have you done to maintain your own unique brand of womanhood without imposing it on your little girl, and what have your greatest challenges been?
