so basically there's this guy i like and have liked for the past 3 years. we're not the closest of friends, but we talk occasionally and he flirts with me sometimes (well, if you count flirting as stepping on the back of my shoe then smiling, and also this one time he was fanning me at a school concert and sexually telling me to "take it"... well that was actually kind of funny). although we flirt (i guess), i highly doubt he likes me. the main problem is, he's one of the most popular guys in the grade and i'm pretty unpopular. he's gotten blowjobs by girls prettier than me, so he can probably "get off" by any girl in the grade he wants. but he's a really nice guy and when we do talk we have a good time, and when we have projects together we laugh and he even let me take his computer once to do something and like UGH. i'm pretty sure he would never even consider me as a girlfriend... oh, and i failed to mention that i'm like 2-3 inches taller than him (i'm 5'10'' and he's not the tallest, though he's probably not stopped growing and i have). i got so close to asking him for his number once, but i got cold feet. i'm sure he'd give it to me, we're not at all strangers, but i'm still afraid he'd do it unwillingly or something. i want to be his girlfriend, but i don't want him to have expectations of me to like suck his dick or whatever, cause i'm not entirely down for that at my age. though i'd be okay with just being his friend, all of his other girl-friends (friends who are girls) happen to be incredibly pretty. i'm not disastrous, i'm maybe a 7, but these girls are 9s. right now it's summer and i, as i said before, don't have his number, but i'm hoping to get the courage to talk to him more in the school year.
