When he has already lost to fighters who are not in the same league as floyd? Even though anything can happen in boxing it isnt far fetched to state that floyd will still be undefeated if he had pacs resume. And dont state that he has improved vastly--- remember when hatton was meant to have improved after the paulie fight--- i can bet the same happens to pac. Manny also doesnt have one punch KO power and even then floyd has fought and beaten fighters with better power p4p than manny.

I think Floyd is very smart in asking for random testing. Why not after the fight most people ask, well if pac is on steroids and beats floyd there is nothing floyd can do to force pac to five a blood sample in his lockeroom and imagine floyd chasing pac round to the phillipines for blood-how crazy would he look. With the recent announcement of mayweather-pacqiao it seems the sport that was once though to be in decline is somewhat popular again, as a fan of boxing it makes me happy to hear people talk about it everywhere as people do with other sports. However the downside is that you get people that have only watched two pacquaio fights and one floyd fight and suddenly start talking like they no everything about the sport e.g i had a conversation with a salesman who kept saying he thought floyd merrywether( yes merryweather) is not in the same league as pacman and that pacqiao was undefeated whereas floyd wasnt. What!!!

I always used to think floyd was smaller than cotto but i think the floyd that fought marquez outweighed the cotto that fought pac on fight night. So do you think floyd is going to be much bigger than manny on fight night note manny has a hard time to even maintain his weight at 145 and weighs less than that.

Personally i just want this fight to happen so we can find out who the best pfp fighter is today and perhaps the winner may go down as the best fighter of this era. Why is everyone underestimating cotto. Bob arum is always talking how how hard the fight will be for pac but never talks about cotto. People here are talking about pac-mayweather, freddy roach is already talking about pac refusing a 50/50 split with floyd? Just look at pacs last two fights where he beat a faded oscar(i give him credit for that because he went up in weight) and overrated hatton and now hes meant to KO cotto who couldnt be stopped by bigger guys like clottey and mosley. Would pac look good if he was fighting guys like that? Can pac beat clottey and mosley at 147?

Whose fight against hatton did you find impressive. Floyd broke hatton down throughout the fight and was hitting him at will before he knocked him out whilst probably not meaning to. We all no what pac did to poor hatton. Hatton himself said being knocked out by pac was better than being dominated and outclassed by floyd. Which do you find impressive?

I mean when he fought oscar he took some good shots at that weight and even managed to stun him as well. Hatton also thought he was going to impose his strength on mayweather and floyd did that to him throughout the fight.

Is it me or hatton and oscar were all picked by roach as they are all left hand dominant. Is this why roach wants cotto as well as he is also left hand dominant i.e. a converted southpaw. Real boxing experts know what i mean.

Is it me or on every boxing forums there are new 'fans' of pacqiao who just watched his fight with ricky and now think he is unbeatable. They seem to think he will K.O floyd when even roach suggests the closest he will win the fight is by a split decision. They seem to think he will easily beat cotto or mosley. Why are people not giving a chance to beat floyd. I think marquez has a better chance to beat floyd than pacqiao because he is technically sound and can adapt. The thing about manny is that he could come into the fight with the perfect game plan and might steal the first few rounds but when mayweather figures him out manny would not be able to adjust like marquez can.

First of all before floyd fought oscar he had just beaten mayora by KO at light middle, floyd moved up to junior middle and fought a very careful fight, floyd always respected oscars power at that weight and that saved oscar from getting beat badly. He then faced an undefeated hatton who some experts tipped to KO him, Hatton was very confident however he was outclassed badly. Floyd himself stated manny would beat hatton as he had taken a lot out of him. Let these guy's fight then we can tell who the best is
