  • Any input on a weird case of muscle soreness?

I've been running at least 1.5 miles a day 4-5 times a week for the last three months. About two weeks ago I began noticing that my calves feel sore all the time (soreness similar to how you feel when you start exercising again after a long period of inactivity). It's almost unnoticeable, but as I used to run track in high school, I have never experienced this before. Now I'm afraid of waking up one morning and pulling a muscle because of it...anyone have any ideas why this is, or how to address the issue?

  • Is going to a top university worth it?

When you take into consideration that graduates of the best colleges are paid 15-20k more per year than the average college graduate?

Is a Harvard graduate ever going to say to himself, 20 years down the road, "Man, I really wish I went to XYZ State University instead of Harvard" ?

  • Job Outlook for Patent Law?

What does the job outlook for patent attorneys look like for Chemical Engineering? Is it easy to get 1L summer associate positions for PA (compared to other 1L SA positions)? How much do law firms care about your UGrad GPA? How much of a factor is law school prestige for IP law in particular when it comes to getting a job (i.e. does a student from a t14 school have tremendous advantage over someone from a t20 school, is it comparable to the competitiveness present in other areas of the law?) Thanks!

Please don't bother responding if you aren't a patent attorney, I don't need to read your senseless uneducated drivel.

  • Why do you persist in claiming that the Red Sox have bought their World Series?

Nothing could be farther from the truth...

    Proof:

Top Performers on the Sox roster:

    Beckett: 6.7 million

    Ortiz: 13.3 million

    Ramirez: 17 million

    Schilling: 13 million

    Lowell: 9 million

    Dice-K: 6.3 million

    Youkilis: 0.4 million

    Pedroia: 0.4 million

    Ellsbury: 0.4 million

    Papelbon: 0.4 million

    Okajima: 1.2 million

    TOTAL: 68.1 million

    Other core players:

    Varitek: 11 million

    Lugo: 8.3 million

    Drew: 14 million

    Wakefield: 4 million

Which brings it to 105 million, a far cry from the Yankees.

Yes, the other 40 million is used on players like Clemente who has been sitting out for 2 years, ineffective players like Gagne, and an expensive bench. And as we all know, players who spend their entire seasons on the DL and a team's bench players are used to win championships.

Therefore, Boston has turned into the Bronx!!! Don't you love unsubstantiated claims?
