My finace and I are in the beginning stages of planning our wedding. We have both agreed that we'd like to just go away for a weekend with his two kids and get married -- thinking about Jasper or Edmonton. We're on a very tight budget so I'm not really sure where to start. Any packages I find online are minimum $3500.... Suggestions on how we can pull off a nice, small wedding would be terrific!

I've been trying to eat healthier and exercise over the past couple of months with the goal of losing weight and just overall making changes so that I can live a healthy life.

My big problem is snacking - I love my salty crunchy snacks like chips and microwave popcorn.... I'm looking for any suggestions I can get for an alternative that would be better for me.

Please help!!!! I'm having trouble kicking the habit of those bad snacks!!!

I've had a few gallbladder attacks before (have been diagnosed as having gallstones) and I've never gotten sick to my stomach with it. I'm having an attack and for some reason this time I'm throwing up too. Should I be worried or is that normal for this type of attack?

I'm thinking about going on the pill. My concern is that I've been told that the pill causes weight gain. I'm overweight and can't afford to let myself gain anymore..... Is it true that the birth control pill causes weight gain? If so, what other alternatives would you suggest?

I recently quit my job after 10 years of working for the same company. It got to the point that management was asking me to take on an unreasonable workload then repremanding me when it was impossible to complete to the point of threatening my pay.....

I finally broke down at work when I was called into the office and repremanded by three people from the management team and called it quits.

I've been an AWSOME employee and given 110% for years, but the past few months the management structure changed and the dynamic flipflopped to me being treated like a "problem" employee., and co-workers were even telling me to get out because i was being mistreated and taken advantage of..... Any suggestions?

For the past 4 years I've gotten 3 weeks paid vacation. I was given a memo yesterday stating that the boss has changed his policies and has decided that I need two more years of seniority before I qualify for my 3rd week.

Is it legal for him to take that away after all this time? Are there any laws in Ontario about stuff like that? I don't even know where to start....

I've been dealing with a lot in my family for a long time and don't feel like I'm dealing with it very well.... I'll give a little background here. I have a brother and sister who are physically challenged (we just found out my brother needs major surgury on his spine), a father who has been dealing with major depression/anxiety issues for several years now and two grandfathers who have alzheimers (one doesn't even know me any more). I keep feeling like eventually when my mother can't deal anymore its all going to fall on my shoulders to handle and I find that rather than being able to deal with all of it, I just feel overwhelmed and cry a lot.... I don't know if thats normal or not.... What do you think?

I've been dealing with earaches for a few yrs now. Was even sent to a specialist who could find nothing wrong. Just wondering if anyone would have an idea on how to help with them. If I sleep on the side of my head I get woken up because of the pain..... Is is possible they are connected somehow to allergies? The specialist says no but they seem to go hand in hand, when allergies are bad so are my earaches...

Just wondering.... I have an older brother and younger sister who both have a rare genetic disorder called morquio's syndrome. I'm wondering where do i go to find out if i carry that gene as well? What if i have kids? what are the chances of me passing that on?

I've been finding that for the past three weeks i'm abnormally tired..... to the point that I don't have the energy to do my job properly, can't get up the energy most times to even do my dishes or clean my place.... just going through the motions is exhausting me.... any ideas on how i can boost my energy?

It lasted approx 5 hrs, I felt it like a clamp on my right side that went right around to my back... and it was SO painful i had a fever and had tears running down my face it hurt so bad... Started to feel better once i forced myself to throw up... Any ideas what might have caused this?
