  • 1995 Grand Am Transmission dead?

    Ok heres what I have. 1995 Pontiac Grand Am GT, Quad 4 engine, 4t60e automatic transmission. Transmission serviced at 109,000, showing 136,000 now. Trans. was doing perfect up until yesterday, suddenly after the turn of the switch. Car has no first gear at all. Tried in all selector positions. Reverse is fine, and car will still start only in N and P. Service engine soon light pops on when the car trys to shift into Overdrive but the car will not go in, but when dropping off the accelerator car drops down to an idle like it had went in, as soon as the accelerator is hit again rpms jump back up to around 3000, with the car still in drive. Car is showing no codes, but when check engine light is on, with scanner hooked to it, it gives QMMD sersor error, although I have no idea what this means. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
