  • Switching from nursing school to speech therapy school?

I'm a third year nursing student and have a year and one semester left til I take the NCLEX and get my BSN. I really want to become a speech therapist but my school doesn't offer a program. I've done some research and heard that you need a communications bachelors degree in order to get into ST school, I was wondering if they accepted other majors too?Anyone who's familiar with speech therapy or the switch from the nursing program I'd love any advice you can give. Also thoughts on whether I should just finish my nursing degree then pursue a ST?
