I am a birth mother. and proud to be one, my first daughter was born as a child of rape..I couldn't hold that against her but I couldn't go thru the pain of raising her especially when I was as unprepared as I could have been. I'm proud to say I gave her life... I had a chance to get my life together and am privileged to be able to raise my 2ed daughter who is the reason I wake up with a smile on my face. Most questions I answer are about adoption, people tend to generalize one way or the other and its something people have strong opinions about but don't open their eyes to everything. Its not always bad but I realize its not always good. I'm not for adoption all of the time, but I am for having an open mind and looking at particular situations. I used to LOVE getting on YA and sharing, look for help but its become more of an insult-fest than a positive outlet so I don't get on so much. I wish people could really just help people but most just want to be cruel.
