Lost pictures out of a set
I have a bunch of pictures filed on two computers (Vista on one, XP on the other) and a thumb drive. Not all the picture will come up.I get a message "Photo Gallery can't open this picture or video. This file format is not suported, or you don't have the latest updates to Photo Gallery."
All were taken at the same time, with the same camera.
I can't find a way to get them back, or to download a more recent Photo Gallery. Any ideas?

I got the right answer, but it has disappeared from the list of answers. It had me go to regedit. Worked fine. If you could send it again, I will file it away, and give it "best answer." Thanks.
