My girlfriend recently got bitten by a horse, when I took her to the hospital they treated her like she had been bitten by any other common animal. ie...dog, cat, etc...... I have spent my entire life on a large farm but never around horses until I met my girlfriend who has a small horse farm. Needless to say I don't know much about horses, but I know enough about them to know that they are very strong animals.

I am asking this question because the hospital did not treat her right, they treated her like she was faking her pain, they labeled her as "having anxiety". Anyway to finish this up I would like truth full answers only with links to your source, that way I can take the info to the hospital and tell them how bad they have screwed up.
