Can you bill under a Doctor's name, even though the Medical or Physicians Assistant performs the procedure?
In other words, although the Doctor has knowledge of the procedures that are about to take place, but does not participate whatsoever, and allows for the Medical or Physicians Assistant to perform, can if still be billed under the Doctor's name? If not, whose name goes under the Billing? Is this legal? This is for the State of California.
