Is the bell housing cover for a 1981 Firebird and Camaro the same?
I have a 1981 Pontiac Firebird with a Chevy 350 motor and a TH350 transmission put into it. As of right now there is no bell housing cover (flexplate cover, inspection cover etc), so the flexplate is just hanging wide open out the bottom of the car. I am confused as to which cover I am going to have to purchase. I am sure I could find one for an 81 firebird with the proper bolt pattern but will it fit with the Chevy components put in or should I look for a Camaro cover, I know these cars shared a lot of parts but I am not sure if they have the same bolt pattern and clearance for the bell housing cover. Any and all info is appreciated, thank you
