I start with a charcoal sketch sprayed with fixative, then use paint thinned with turp. It's after that I never know just what mediums to use. Every book is different. Can I just use turp 3 to 1 oil increasing the oil with each layer or just paint without medium and do I have to use varnish in the mixture. I have work now that is still sticky after 2 weeks just using 3 to 1 mixture and wish I had never used any medium. Help!!!

If I paint in stages at what point would I use this oil? It also says it contains petroleum distillates. Should I add it to my paint or rub canvas down between stages?

In the recent shooting the stations are pouring out news before checking the facts. We have been told the shooter had 4 guns, then 3 guns, then a rifle, then a shotgun.
