I have been on prednisone for 26 years, daily. I take 15 mg per day and sometimes I increase to 20 - 25 mg per day. Yes, I know most people are only on it for 10 - 14 days but this seems to be the only medication that works for my Crohn's disease and my blepharitis. I've already had cataracts (at age 35), have developed Type II Diabetes and High Cholesterol from it. They are also checking me yearly for osteoporosis. The weight gain is a royal pain. I think it is also contributing to my depression. Any suggestions to help with these side effects?

My daughter is doing a project on 70's music and I'm stumped. Yes, I grew up in the 70's but I didn't listen to pop music. She needs songs/lyrics/artists from the 70's that would pertain to today's society. If you don't know the lyrics but know of some links that would be great too. The only song I can think of is "I'm a stranger here" and I'm not even sure that was in the 70's and that that is the correct title or who the artist was who did it.

She needs 3 different artists and their songs.

My recipe calls for 1 cup mashed ripe bananas and it says usually 2 or 3 depending on the size. Well, I ended up with more than 1 cup of mashed bananas (almost 1-1/2 cups). I don't want to waste the extra banana. Should I add more flour or put in less milk? If I add more flour, how much should I add? The recipe only calls for 1/4 cup of milk so I don't know how much I can really reduce it.

I have a recipe for sourdough coffee cake that is quite boring. I haven't used it in years and I remember that when I made it before I added thinly sliced apples to it. I also increased the cinnamon from 1/2 to 1 tsp. My question is would you add nutmeg to the recipe too for more flavour? If so, how much would you add? Does anyone know what nutmeg is made from? The reason I am asking is because my daughter has a sever allergic reaction to hazelnuts and almonds and I wouldn't want to add the nutmeg if it contains either of them.

Can you think of anything else I might add to the recipe to 'spice' it up?

I was asked this question and I couldn't really give a definitive answer. I said that if it was my sight it would have to be after I saw my daughter get married and my first grandchild. I would never want to lose my hearing because then I would never hear her laugh again and that would be a very, very, terrible thing.

Can you choose one or the other definitively?

Will you pick another medical show like House or just accept what they replace it with?

I will not be making this recipe very often so don't want to go out and buy cake and pastry flour. Thanks in advance for your help

The recipe just says brown sugar it does not specify which to use. What is the difference between the 2?

I know I can do this in Outlook Express but I don't use that anymore and only use my Yahoo mail. What can I do?

The recipe calls for Cream of Tartar so there may be recipe out there somewhere that has a different name. Any help would be greatly apprciated. Thanks
