I have played violin for 5 years and i have really grown to hate it, to the point where i hate listening to violinists. I decided to learn cello in an attempt to preserve my love for classical music. I cant afford cello classes, so im learning on my own. I just started the basics such as reading bass clef notes and holding cello bow. I watched many videos on how to properly hold the bow but my pinky always flattens out at the second joint and is bent at the first. I know this isnt the correct way to hild it but no matter how much i try it always happens

I am 16 now. At age 6, my wrists and ankles always hurt. I was constantly wrapping them and I would sometimes fall when walking, running, or going down the stairs because my ankle would suddenly hurt. I had to quit horseback riding because i would suddenly get wrist pain.Additionally in 5th grade, my knees started to crack every time i bent my legs and most of the time it hurt a little. In 7th grade, my knees would start hurting while i was walking and going up stairs. They cracked at almost every moment. I also got a bubble sensations in my knee. It would get uncomfortable to move my leg and i would have to drop to the ground fast to "pop" the bubble. in 8th grade i got an xray of my right knee to see if everything was ok. According to the xray, there was nothing wrong so my doctor concluded that the cause of my pain was the fact that my joints were growing. In 10th grade, my hips, knees, ankles, and wrists cracked daily. Most of the time the cracks are painful and occur with the acts of shifting in my chair, going up and down stairs, walking, and getting up from my chair. My fingers are stiff and crack occasionally. Some days i would be walking and suddenly pain in my hips shoot down my leg. Most days im just walking and my knee or hip would be uncomfortable and hurt. My elbow locks up occasionally. Now days, everything listed above still occurs and my joints randomly hurt while doing nothing. i can't walk more than 10 min without stopping and dont really want to move

I hear the words "depression", "anorexic", "OCD" way too many times a day, i feel as if we have become desensitized to mental disease to the point where it seems like its no big deal. What are your opinions on why we sort of ignore mental disease?

I m in high school and my grandma passed away a few years ago, leaving her 78 year old greenwing macaw in my care. I absolutely love birds, so i want to adopt another bird in the future. The thing is I want to be a veterinarian so i looked into some job openings to get an idea of how long i would be working a day/week. During my research, i found that veterinarians work 50+ hrs average. Not saying that i will get this job in 10-15 years, but I found a job that has good pay and good reviews but i would be working 13 hours a day for 4 days a week(i can pick which days to work). If i get a job with a similar schedule to this, would it be cruel to adopt a macaw? If it is, what type of birds do you recommend for my future lifestyle? Money, size, loudest do not really matter as i (16yrs old) can spoil my macaw so i know i will have no problems with those in the future. As for sociablility, i would prefer a bird that loves attention but if you think i would not be able to adequately care for one that demands attention, a non sociable bird such as finches are fine. I just really love birds

I just adopted 3 ferrets 6 days ago and i noticed they dont play very long. They are about 2 yrs old. I let them get 5 hours of out of cage time throughout the day and after 30 min of direct playtime, they play by themselves for another 30 min. I take them to the cage for a 3 hr nap. I let them out for a 2 hr play time but all they do is walk around and dig in the dig box. About halfway through that playtime, they sleep. I take them back to their cage to nap. I take them out again at night for 2 hours but again they just sleep. So in total they get 1-2 hrs of playtime and they spend 1 hr walking around meaning they sleep 22-23 hrs. I feed them blue buffalo wilderness kitten food. I also give them eggs or chicken as a treat every other day. I dont really know why they arent able to stay awake long.

I have 2 dogs, 1 bird, and 3 ferrets and the smell is overwhelming. Its summer so my dad sends the dogs outside in the back yard and i can leave all the windows open 24/7. We run a fan almost all night and all day instead since our AC has a rusty metalic smell to it although nothing is wrong with it. Pls recommend an air purifier that works well. Im only 15 and im responsible for all my pets and my budget per month is my pay so i can only spend at most $120 since i have to buy dog food, bird food, ferret food, etc

Im planning on mixing 2 brands of cat food and 1 brand of ferret food for the fuzzies im adopting and i heard a lot of mixed reviews and opinions on them. Out of the 3 brands ( Wellness core kitten food, blue Buffalo wilderness grain free kitten food, natures variety instinct raw boost grain free chicken meal cat food), which 2 do you recommend? Which 1 of the 2 brands (zupreem grain free chicken diet, kaytee fiesta ferret food), you recommend for ferret food? Evo cat food is not available where i live and i cannot get totally ferret either. 8 in 1 could be discontinued so im not going to get that. Wysong ferret epigen 90 is only available online

I heard that you can bath ferrets in tearless baby shampoo so i looked around but idk what to get. I might just get ferret shampoo but its cheaper to get baby shampoo.

I started an Instagram account for my bird to get some advice and to keep track of his progress as a rescued bird from an abuse case but i noticed my budgie is not as fluffy and has less plumage than others. I have eCOTRITION Skin and Plumage Supplement for Birds that i have been putting in his food daily. He is almost 11 months. I wonder if it is because of his age or if he is lacking any vitamins/oils/minerals

I know birds need seeds, pellets, veggies, and some fruit and i have done my research on some brands and know a couple brands i would like to try but before i buy it, what do you guy recommend getting?

My new budgie will not eat pellets for his life. I tried slowly switching him over by doing part seed and part pellet, slowly increasing pellet amount over time but he just picks out the pellets and throws them out of the bowl. He started starving himself so i had to give up on pellets. I also tried sprinkling millet on his pellets too.

I dont remember if the grandmas were foreigners or not but what i remember is a grandma singing lyrics and the teams had to guess which song it was. One of the songs was SHINee Ringdingdong. I really would like to watch the episode again because they showed like 5 seconds of the mv and I became a kpop fan. thanks to running man and shinee, my life is ruined(in a good way) and i am forever obsessed with kpop

So my parakeet passed away 2 weeks ago sadly to an unknown cause, even the vets dont know why. And since i have so many toys and a cage and some bird treats, i figured Why not adopt another bird? The parakeet's cage is 16in by 11in by 18in. I dont plan on leaving the bird in there all the time, just at night to sleep and when im at school/out of the house.
