  • Dog age with out using teeth?

We rescued our dog about 3 years ago from my home town pound. She had been a stray before that and needed come serious work to come out of her shell (we think she was abused prior to being a stray). Any way, 3 years later and shes a crazy, loving mutt. We're pretty sure she has border collie in her. Problem is, the pound had no clue what her age could be (they thought she was MALE for cripes sake) and her teeth are in REALLY bad shape - so telling her age by her teeth isnt gonna work, especially considering her life before us. She's also totally white, so looking for greying in her muzzle isnt going to work either. She was full grown when we got her too.

Is there any other possible way to tell her age, or is that it?

  • Appearing online when I dont want to?

I have YIM 8 - cant use 9. Downloads fine, then crashes upon log in. Yahoo! is still trying to fix it.

Despite having the box that says "Allow Yahoo! web sites to show when I am online" UNCHECKED, I am showing up online.

It started randomly after several months of working fine. I did what Yahoo! Customer Care suggested, which was cleared out my messenger's cache.

It sortve worked. It didnt at first, and then I stopped showing up online for about a week. Then very suddenly last night YIM logged me out and when I logged back in, it was showing me online again.

Does any one have any suggestions?

  • White nipple discharge in spayed chihuahua?

We just had our 2 (almost 3) year old chihuahua spayed via a free spay voucher. The vet gave us no indication she could have pregnant. No call, no nothing.

I am fairly dog knowledgeable and have done research about pregnancy in dogs. She went into heat last in June/early July. Had she been pregnant, she would have been showing signs/behaviors by now.

She was spayed on the 24th. Today my mother in law noticed a white, milky discharge on the dog's nipple. When we squeeze any of her nipples, the fluid comes out. She isnt bothered by this and shows no signs of pain when we do it.

I have called the office and left a message begging them to call me ASAP, but the last time I called them... they never got back to me. I'm hoping some one can give me an answer beyond what I'm fearing.

  • Yahoo! Logging me out?

I know from time to time people ask about this, and apparently its my turn to be hit with this issue.

I've got the "Keep me logged/signed in for 2 weeks" checked, but every time I close the window, it signs me out.

Has any one figured out a solution for this?

  • Answers glitch, need phone number?

Last night I received 8 emails (from 6 pm to 11 pm) telling me I got the best answer for the SAME QUESTION.

I know they're all titled the same, and say the same thing in the email except for the link to the question. But the link is ALWAYS the same one!!!

I woke up this morning and had SEVENTEEN!!! emails in my inbox that are no doubt the same thing and I just got ANOTHER ONE.

....I need a phone number to reach Yahoo! about this. Please help!!!

  • Going out into the cold repeatedly?

This might be the wrong place for this, but I'm not 100% sure of where else to ask... soooo....

My fiancee told me he needed a scarf and beanie, which given how cold it is where we are at night (he works graveyard), its no surprise. But he works inside where its fairly warm, so when I asked why he said some one at work told him this:

Going back and forth from a warm place to into the cold repeatedly can cause one's jaw to lock in an awkward position or make half of one's face go numb and limp.

I have a hard time believing such a severe reaction can happen. Has any one else heard of this? Any truth to it?
