Do you ever wonder if someone else is doing the exact same thing as you in a different part of the world?

I really like this girl and we have been seeing each other for about a week now and it has been going pretty good. For the past two day we haven't talked as much though and we were supposed to go last night but something came up. Should I keep texting and calling her like I have been or just wait and see what happens on her end.

My brother recently moved to Colorado. My parents and I are planning on going for Christmas, but my boss is acting like she is not going to give me the time off. I think I may quit if I don't get those days off. Any suggestions?
