I bought some canned chicken to try for a dish I was making but when I opened the can it had a really bad sulfur smell. I thought it was rotten so I took it back and exchanged it for another can and it also smelled bad so I took it back and exchanged it for a completely different (more expensive) brand which still had a faint sulfur odor but not as strong. I rinsed the broth away and it smelled better and I used it and it was fine, but it has been bothering me ever since. Does all canned chicken smell bad? Does anyone know what causes it? I want to make that dish again... but I am leary about that smell...

My husband currently drinks Maxwell House but we are looking for an eco-friendly sustainably grown brand. He is just a "regular" coffee drinker so we are not looking for anything fancy, just something grown responsibly.

Our house currently has a really gross shower enclosure that is peeling off the wall, as well as an old junky tub that wasn't even designed to be used with a shower. We are in the process of redoing the entire bathroom and will mostly likely have to rip out the old plaster and lathe walls and put up new drywall.

My question is what type of drywall should we use for the bathroom in general and behind the tub/shower area specifically. Also, do we have to line/treat/prep that drywall behind the tub area at all before putting the new tub in? Everything behind the tub area will definitely have to be redone from scratch anyway as it is very leaky and damp right now and probably has mold and other gross stuff behind the shower insert.

I know that nii-san refers to an older brother or male friend. Is it also correct to use for a close male friend that is younger than you?

At the beginning of the year I left a job in healthcare due to "burn-out". I went to a temp agency looking for some short term assignments because I liked the flexibility and lesser obligation. The agency rep convinced me they had the perfect position for me , but it was temp to hire (NOT long term temp contract). I interviewed and got the job and now 6 months later I am still temping here. No PTO, no benefits, basically none of the perks of a "real" job but all of the responsibility. I also can't take any time off beacuse I am expected to make it up since I don't have any PTO.

So...how long do you think is reasonable to wait for a temp to hire job offer.

And it is not like I have had unsatifactory job performance, I have already been promoted once and am not on any kind of warning or probation.

Does any one think its weird that the hatch imploded and blew Desmond's clothes off, but Desmond doesn't have a scratch on him? Do you think maybe he time travelled and left his clothes in the future? He DOES seem to know all kinds of weird stuff before they happen now.

Willing to enter into spay/neuter contract. I am looking for a breeder that tends towards the smaller size as my dog now is only 5.5lbs. Looking for REPUTABLE breeders only willing to place a non-show quality puppy at a reasonable price with a loving family that will shower him/her with love and attention.
