i used to work for a guy who is now dead so his buisness closed he used to rebuild what he called (page packs) for printing presses all over the country there getting harder to find but what it is its got 5 pumps on it and each pump pumps a color the problem is i cant find a god da m thing on the internet about them so if thats not what there called (page packs) then what are they called and where can i find info on them if thats what there called where can i go to find info on them these packs or what ever there really called im looking for info on the older style cause most newer press less than 15 years old dont use them any more help please

is a 5.0 the same as a 302 and will any 5.0 valve covers fit on it i prefer chrome

me and a buddy recently put head gaskets on a car went through the whole process you know new bolts heads shaved new gaskets you know all the good stuff we been fixing cars for a long time and never ran into this problem after putting the car together we started to see the coolient system wasent right. now the car has never over heated it will build up air when sitting for a long period of time then you need to bleed the system after reseaching we found out there was a misprint with the torque specs for the head bolts (not our fault) ive never ran into this problem so can you put the torque wrench on them and tighten them to the right specs or will the heads have to come off be checked and replace the bolts any answers

it a v-6 multi port fuel injection 3.1 from a 1995 car

my car has three coils 2 points on each one 2 of the three coils are showing about 6.14-6.32 ohms the third coil is showing about 5.14 ohms dose this mean its bad the coil dose have spark but might exsplain why my car is missing and back firing and running rough should i replace the coil or is that a normal reading

while at idol speed in park you can hear a poping noise comming out of the tail pipe the plugs are new the coils are new the wires are new sometimes the car stalls when put into drive or reverse and the idol floats while in park going to low idol to high idol then normal when driving at a high spped when slowing down to a stop the idol is so low it almost stalls but the engine fights to stay running and taking off from your stop kind feels like the car has no power and that poping noise is herd when all through out driving speed whats the problem any answers

why is it when i start my car aftre sitting for a while you can see air bubbles in the coolient thats in the over flow tank and slowley the radiator pushes its coolient into the over flow filling it to the top somtimes making a mess all over the place ANY CLUES

this is a 3100 V-6 engine GM motor all the wires coils and plugs are new the problem i have is the car idols like s h i t while in gear at a stop sine or light what ever you know what i mean and also whilee in park it will idol at about 1000 RPM i give it a little gas get up to about 2500 rpms let of the gas and she bogs right down to about 500 rpm almost to a stall then it will go back to a nomal idol at about 1000 RPMs but while in park it idols great but while in gear it dose the putt putt putt thing causing unwanted shaking and viberation in the car and while driving the car it dose the putt putt putt thing while your foot is on the gas getting the car up to speed and when you take off from a stop it dose the putt putt putt thing and i need to put my foot right down to get it to go so whats the problem any ideas

why is my coolient from my radaitor going into my over flow now this only happens when the car sits for a long period of time when heated up to normal operating temp it just keeps climbing and no heat from the heater just cold air and the over flow is full of coolient i shut the car off before it over heats i release the radaitor cap and of course hot coolient pushes out when the cap is released i retighten the cap and start the car the temp gose down i now have heat and the over flow is normal i can drive the car now one more thing this engine is a 3100 V-6 the year is 1995 maker GM it has new head gaskets bolts water pump thermostat radaitor and coolient and the heads where rebuilt any ideas

this a 3.1 GM engine the problem we have is it over heated this morning its werid cause yesterday it ran for a long time while idoling and held a stedy temp and i had lots of heat coming threw my vents in the heater today there no heat it over heated and for some reason my over flow has more antifrezze than normal yesterday i filled the over flow to the hot mark now its almost full im letting you all know now its not the head gaskets they are new and so is the water pump and the raditor im guessing a falty thermostat any ideas

where are they now

what do u think of them if you know where to find one let me know

this is a 3.1 engine GM motor the fuel rail was removed during the rebuild it was replced with new O-rings and leaks like a siv and the radiator just dosent seem right the engine was started and ran for mabe less than 5 minutes the cap was removed and the back pressure was enough to scare casper the goast now this engine was rebuilt so every thing is new including head gaskets head bolts all new seals bearings and gaskets so any ideas guys

you know girls want to spend so much money eating out and stuff well thats why us guys are so cheap and low maintance cause we can stay at home and eat out what do you think

ok this raditor is in the car but the engine and drive train have been sent off for future rebuild but anys ways the radator needs to be cleaned out of of all my years fixing cars i have never done such a thing nor seen such a thing but i guess if theres a will theres a way so im asking the world if you got any ideas or answers

coolient like crazy and the smoke from the tail pipe reminds me of uncal buck the movie i love the car and it runs good and drives great but i cant seem to figure it out why is it drinking coolint im adding it all the time and over heating like crazy i changed the oil and alot of coolient came out so whats the problem

he changed my fluieds my wife went to his house to get the car and she checked so see if the work was done and she called me and said the oil in the engine is a bright red and the tranny fluied is a clean brown color whats this mean
